Crisp and Cool!

We went to the fire station to have dinner with daddy on Sunday. Miss Tami and Maren came too. We had yummy nachos for dinner, they were messy but good! I watched Allan climb on top of the fire truck, so I did too. It was very high up, but I was careful. We also rode the golf cart around the station, I rang the doorbell and ran, it was funny. We headed to grandma's on Monday because mama had to work. I was a good boy and played well with my cousins. Daddy went hunting on Tuesday with with his friend Manny but they didn't have any luck. Mama built me a ramp for my bike and I rode down the hill and then hit it really fast. Bella watched from the front porch, she thought I was funny. I just recently started taking my sleep sack off in my crib and climbing out all by myself without calling for mama. I also take off my pull up, get my underwear and pjs and go to wake up mama. I am so proud of myself for being suck a big boy, but mama isn't as amused. Wednesday mama got called into work to help out, so Bella and I spent the day with daddy. We put a big puzzle together, read books and went outside to play after nap. It got dark real early (which I don't like) so after dinner and bath we watched a movie. We were eating popcorn and snuggled on mama's bed when she got home. I helped mama hang up some pictures in the hall, I handed her all of the tools when she needed them. I got some vampire teeth in my goodie bag at the Halloween party and I like to where them with my headband on and slippers on my hands. Mama says I'm a silly goose! I still really enjoy playing fire fighter at home, my car inside is my fire truck.

Bella
I am doing better at sleeping at night time now, which is making mama be less cranky. I push myself up real high on my arms but can't quite get my knees under my body yet. I just end up pushing myself backwards. I did a lot of squeaking at the fire station, because I liked to hear myself. Daddy gave me a ride on the golf cart too:) I watched Jace ride his bike and smiled every time he said "hey Bella, watch this!". I took a bath with Jace on Tuesday night and he splashed me a bunch, but I still had fun. I was a good girl for daddy on Wednesday, ate all of my bottles and cereal like a champ. Jace even fed me one of my bottles. I fell asleep in daddy and mama's bed while Jace watched a movie. Mama fed me when she got home and put me to bed.

We went to kinder gym again last Monday and I was the only kiddo there to play. I jumped on the trampoline a bunch and had lots of fun.  Daddy came home after I went to bed,  but didn't have any luck hunting. Tuesday, I rode my bike outside and played with puzzles inside. On Wednesday mama took me to kinder gym and story time at the library. They read books about the election and we colored and made hats. On Thursday, I painted one of our pumpkins and played with my Tonka truck outside. It was chilly, but we wore coats to stay warm. The leaves are falling all over in the yard, and I said to mama "what's up with that?". Mama also let me feed Bella her cereal. Friday was Halloween, but Bella kept mama up all night crying so mama called in sick. I was bummed that we didn't go to grandma's, but we had a relaxing day at home. Aunt dot sent Bella and I Halloween cards and they had money in them! There was a knock knock joke on mine that I keep repeating. Saturday we went to town with mama to get some supplies to make daddy's costume, then after nap we headed for uncle Nick and aunt Lori's house. I was woody the cowboy and mama was Jessie, daddy and Bella were Mr and Mrs potato head. They had a big Halloween party with lots of fun games, I had a lot of fun with my cousins and new friends.

Bella
After cutting two teeth, my sleep cycle got messed up, so I have been keeping mama up at night with my crying. First she thought something was wrong, but after talking to my Dr, she had been just letting me cry myself back to sleep. I slept through story time at the library, but there were kiddos at kinder gym that really liked me. I gave them big smiles and giggles. I can roll all over the living room now, and I am really enjoying my baby oatmeal. Saturday night was very stimulating, there were kids everywhere and I loved every minute. I was a good girl and let mama's friends hold me. I was sleepy by the time we left, so I slept all the way home.

The joys of cutting teeth!

Last Monday mama went to the gym and Bella and I went in the play room there with miss Corrie.  There were three other boys around my age and we had so much fun running,  jumping and throwing balls.  After mama was done,  she took us to kinder gym so I could work it out. Miss Tami and Maren met us there. We jumped on the trampoline,  jumped into a huge foam pit and crawled through a huge Maze of tunnels. Next we went home for lunch and nap.  Miss Tami and mama were planning to get some projects done.  When we woke up, Maren and I watched the movie toy story and ate a huge bowl of popcorn. Mama worked on Tuesday,  so we spent the day at grandma's house.  We even got to spend the night there. The next day, mama,  Bella and I drove to Eugene to visit mama's friend miss Chelsea and her twins Jett and Job. I was a good boy, so after the babies ate, we visited Marchello at the fire station. I got to see fire engines and ambulances there. They gave me a toy fire truck too.  We headed for home and made it home by dinner time.  Daddy came home on Thursday and a couple of his friends came to cut up some firewood.  Mama and I made muffins and took them a morning snack. It was raining so we didn't stay up there long. Daddy and I played in the afternoon because I missed him the past few days.  We rode the four wheeler up the hill to check the burn pile that he started.  Mama worked again on Friday,  but my cousins were sick so we had grandma all to ourselves.  Grandma came home with us on Friday night so she could watch us on Saturday while daddy and mama went to a Halloween party. Bella and I stayed at home with daddy on Saturday morning so that grandma and mama could workout.  Mama and daddy looked really silly when they got ready for the party.  Sunday, Grandma and daddy headed for Roseburg after breakfast, daddy went hunting with papa and grandma just went home. Mama and I  built really tall towers with my blocks and then took turns knocking them over.

Bella
Well...I cut my second tooth and mama noticed it on Monday morning, she couldn't figure out why I was so cranky since my first tooth was already through. I enjoyed all of the attention at the gym while mama worked out. The boys all took turns holding me and miss Corrie talked to me a lot. I also had fun watching Jace and Maren play at kinder gym, but when we got home I was pretty clingy. I made it difficult for mama and miss Tami to get projects done. I was good for grandma on Tuesday, my cousins were entertaining. I woke up early on Wednesday morning but took a big nap on the way to Eugene. I was very happy and liked seeing the other babies. I was excited to get out of my car seat when we finally got home on Wednesday night. I watched Jace and mama make muffins on Thursday morning and gave daddy lots of smiles and laughs when he came inside. I got lots of snuggles from grandma on Friday and the rest of the weekend. She fed me some cereal on Sunday and more stayed in my mouth than what came out, I liked it a lot. I even opened my mouth every time she got me another bite!

Pumpkin Time!

Last weekend daddy and mama took Bella and I to the pumpkin patch.  My friend Maren and her parents came too.  There were lots of fun activities to do there. There was a hay Maze,  a bounce house, a hay pyramid for climbing, a big bucket of corn to jump in and a barrel cow ride. The cow ride was my favorite,  they pulled us with a gator and there were lots of bumps and windy turns.  I rode on it twice,  then after picking out my pumpkin,  daddy and I shot some veggies out of some smaller guns then shot a pumpkin out of the pumpkin chunker! We hit a bus out in the field that we were aiming for. Monday we went grocery shopping and I helped mama make some dinners to put in the freezer. Then we packed our bags and got the Jeep ready to go to Roseburg for a couple of days.  Mama decided to work two days this week to help her friend.  I had fun spending the night at papa and grandma's house.  I only have the morning to play with Shea now because she is in school. I snuggled her on the couch while grandma made our lunch and we watched word world.  Grandma and I played outside in between rain storms on Wednesday. Mama got off a little early,  so I helped her put Costco groceries away when we got home.  I was excited to see daddy on Thursday morning when he came home from work. We played and wrestled on the floor in the morning and I helped him do chores outside in the afternoon. We colored, played with play dough and put puzzles together while mama went to town to get some fabric for our costumes. We watched the movie toy story on Friday night and ate popcorn. Mama made me a costume like woody from the movie, I was very excited. Saturday morning daddy perfected my costume while mama finished Bella's. We headed for the birthday party a little early so we could go to the store. When the cashier told me I looked just like woody, I said "there's a snake in my boot", just like woody says on the movie. There was a bounce house at the party and I jumped a lot. I sang happy birthday to pk, then ate a small piece of chocolate cake. It was a fun party, I didn't want to go home and have a nap, but I slept for 3 hours when we got home. Daddy was back from hunting when I woke up and we helped him pack some supplies to go elk hunting for tonight and tomorrow. We wished him luck and he was off!

Bella
I had fun watching all of the kids at the pumpkin patch and stayed awake the entire time. Mama took me on the cow ride,  it was fun and bumpy. Mama has a toy that she sets over me while I am on the floor that has hanging toys for me to kick and grab.  I am strong enough to lift it and chew on the legs now. I was a good girl for grandma on Tuesday but was a little fussy on Wednesday and didn't sleep much. Thursday I didn't sleep 30 minutes all day and cried whenever I wasn't being held.  Daddy and mama finally gave me some Tylenol and later realized I cut my first tooth. My front bottom right tooth, and it feels funny on my tongue when I stick it out. I was pretty cranky and restless again on Friday,  but slept 12 hours on Friday night. I felt much better on Saturday morning, woke up all smiles. Mama made me a costume to wear to a birthday party, and I was a pretty cute Mrs potato head! While she was getting ready to go, I rolled over from my back to my belly for the first time.

Daddy Time!

On Monday, Maren and miss Tami came over for a visit. We all had a tea party and then Marin and I started fighting over toys and not sharing very well. I got several time outs and went to bed after lunch. Mama and miss Tami did some canning while I was napping, and I woke up in a better mood. Maren got several time outs after I got up and Bella cried a lot. Miss Tami and mama were glad when the day was over. I helped mama pack or bags and load the jeep before going to bed. We headed to grandma's the next morning because mama had to work. We had another tea party, and I sang happy birthday to grandma even though her birthday wasn't until the next day. Uncle Nick and aunt Lori sent some movies home for me to watch sometime. On Wednesday morning, daddy Bella and I went over to the Rogers house while mama and miss Tami went for a hike and out to lunch. Maren and I played together a little better that day while daddy and Allan made summer sausage. I got to watch Peter pan as a special treat before bed, I enjoyed it very much. On Thursday, we worked around the house, I watched daddy cut a big tree down in the driveway and then helped haul the slash to a burn pile. Daddy and mama went to workout and Bella and I went because they have a new sitter at the gym. Her name is Jovanna and she is very sweet. On Friday morning, we went to town to get the oil changed in the jeep and visit our old neighbor miss Laurie. Daddy and I did a few chores for her then she took us to lunch. While Bella and I napped, daddy and mama fell another tree, and I helped clean it up after I got up. It was a productive few days, but I enjoyed spending time with my daddy on his days off. He headed back to work today, and I helped mama with laundry and dishes this morning. I entertained Bella by singing patty cake, and mama helped me put some wooden puzzles together. I did some painting while Bella napped, then took a very long nap after lunch.

Bella
I was a happy girl on Monday morning when I woke up, but as the day went on, I got really cranky. I cried a lot throughout the day and never slept for more than 20 minutes at a time all day. Mama said I must have a tummy ache, but I was very unhappy. I went to bed at 7:30, and mama had to wake me up to go to grandma's the next morning. I was feeling much better, and was my normal happy self on Tuesday. I was a good girl for daddy on Wednesday morning, but mama got home a little late to feed me, so I got a little fussy. I snuggled with Jace while he watched Peter Pan and surprised mama that night by sleeping for 12 hours. I took a big morning nap and a big afternoon nap so mama got lots done around the house. I have managed to out grow my bouncy chair already, I like to sit up whenever I can! I was good for the sitter at the gym and went back to sleeping 10 hours that night. I gave miss Laurie lots of smiles when she held me and I slept through lunch. Mama made me have lots of tummy time today, but I didn't mind it much. She dressed me in a warm snuggly outfit, and I stayed warm even though it was chilly in the house today.
