Dive into Summer!

Grandma and mama planned a hiking trip along the lower Rogue River. I helped her pack and get ready to go and really wished I could go along. Papa and grandma came down there night before they left and Papa stayed with us until daddy got home from work. It was father's day weekend, so mama made a fresh strawberry pie for Papa and another one for Bampa. Papa took us for a bike ride on the Greenway before he headed home. Then daddy packed and we headed to the Dalles for the weekend. We went to Auntie Leanne and uncle Tyler's to help pull rye and do some other chores on the farm. I had so much fun helping and even made some more money for my bow. We had a great time and celebrated father's day on Sunday morning before heading home. We had a fun day with daddy and helped get house stuff done before mama and grandma got home from their hike. We made burgers and fries for dinner before Papa and grandma headed home. We started a kids fit class at miss Christie's gym that is a couple of days a week, and we have been playing in the creek most days we are home. We have been swimming in Tocher's pool, Mr Kurt's pool and the Umpqua river with our cousins too. We went blueberry picking and mama spent three night in the treehouse with us while daddy went on a Mt biking trip. It sure feels like summer! After doing a few chores for Papa and grandma, I made my last few dollars to buy my bow. I took my jar of money and a huge smile to the Dewclaw bow shop. They fitted the bow to me and I got to shoot it before buying. Daddy bought me a really nice case to carry it in and I'm so excited!

I have been picking lots of strawberries from the garden, and even picked the ones for Papa and Bampa's pies. I had so much fun at Lala's house, I played with babies and Grace too. We went to the Saturday market and got mama some bath bombs. I made some fun videos on daddy's Kindle on the way home while watching a show. I was happy to see mama and grandma, I made her a present with pictures I colored and the bath bombs. Mya has been over a couple of days while daddy and mama work, and she always has fun crafts for us to do. We have been in the creek a lot too. Miss Christie's fitness class is really fun and I decided to move up to the mini matrix class at gymnastics. I go twice a week now and I love it! We went to a church day camp one day and I met a new friend Rayna. Then when we got home we put on our suits and headed for a swim at the neighbor's pool. The very next day, we went to Kurt's pool to swim and then spent the hottest day of summer so far sleeping in the treehouse. It was fun, but hot and lots of bugs. I got a few bites. I picked the most blueberries when we went to Roseburg and then had fun swimming in the river with our cousins after. I helped Mama make a yummy blueberry German pancake for breakfast the next morning. I was excited to see daddy when he got home from his biking trip and was happy for Jace when he got his new bow!
