We had a toy swap and pool party at the Tocher's later that week and then we helped mama get 225# of peaches at peach palooza. We also built a pencil box at the home depot workshop. We did a family river float after swim lessons and started packing for our annual family camping trip. Mama grew some delicious carrots in the garden this year and we sure are enjoying them. Wednesday, we went to miss Audra's to can peaches and peach pie filling. We helped a bit and played some too. Miss Kelsey took us to crossfit kids while daddy and mama got the truck all packed and then we headed to the lake. We played games, explored and helped unpack and set up the tent. The water wasn't as warm as usual and we even had a bit of rain, but our tent stayed dry and we still had lots of fun! I fished off of my kayak and we all set up a trap to try to catch a chipmunk, but we never caught one. We played camping charades, washers and darts and also rode our bikes a lot! We went for a family bike ride the last morning before we left and rode half way around the lake and back:) we had so many ripe veggies in the garden when we got home, so we made pizza sauce, canned peppers and made pesto! While mama was at work later that week, we made a little camping set up at home while daddy worked on firewood splitting and stacking. Daddy had to work the next day, but we talked mama into sleeping outside in the blind all night.
