Lala's visit

Wednesday was a beautiful day, and daddy and mama finished painting  Alli's dog house.  Mama had a class to go to in the afternoon,  and we stayed outside and worked while she was gone.  She brought home burritos from my favorite place and she got me my very own. I ate it all gone,  and thanked mama very much. I had a rough couple of days for not listening and taking things from Bella, but they have since resolved.  I had fun playing with my cousins on Thursday while mama worked,  and then Lala came to grandma's and I rode home with her. Mama made dinner when we got home and then bath and bed. I woke up a little early on Friday and snuck into lala's room. She let me snuggle and look at pictures on her phone until it was time to get up. Daddy had an interview for a promotion at work and he had to get all dressed up. He looked very handsome,  and I tried on his hat before he left and said "yes sir". I played outside all morning with Lala and even ate my lunch on the front step. When I woke up from my nap,  we went to the park to play and then went out to dinner. Lala took me outside on an adventure again on Saturday so that mama could get some things done inside.  Daddy and mama said goodbye to me before nap because they went for a hike and then a wedding for adults. They spent the night there, and Bella and I had lots of fun with lala. We went for a walk, read books and played. Daddy and mama came home the next morning, and lala had to go home. We gave her big snuggles and thanked her for my new clothes she brought, then we went to church. I was a really good boy at bible school and I learned a new song that I sang to daddy and mama on the way home. We played outside in the afternoon and then spent the day with daddy on Monday while mama worked. She got home early and I helped her make dinner. She had to work in Roseburg on Tuesday and I wanted to go play with my "friends" at grandma's house. Bella stayed home with daddy because she had swim class. Kenzi was sick, but Shea, Wyatt and I built legos, watched diego while holding hands, and played outside the rest of the day. We built some things and made bug traps out of boxes. I wanted to stay the night there but mama said no. When we got home there were lots of gravel piles in the driveway that daddy had delivered.

Bella
I love being outside and like to watch Alli dog, she makes me laugh. I had fun at papa and grandma's and showed lala how I cruise around the driveway in my walker. Mama tried to make it to swim on time, but we didn't and I was sleeping so we just went home. We had dinner and we took a bath in mama's big bathtub, I splashed a lot! Lala played with us a bunch on Friday and Saturday. Daddy pushed me on the swing at the park and I had fun.
I showed her how I walk behind things and gave her lots of smiles and giggles. I took my bottles for lala while mama and daddy were gone and got lots of snuggles.

Sickies!

The sickness carried on throughout the week, and after running a fever for 3 days, mama took us to the Dr. I was complaining that my right ear hurt and Bella kept pulling on hers, but it turned out that we just had nasty colds. I was excited to see my doctor, Dr. Marshak. When the nurse took us down the hall to weigh us, I saw him walk by. I said, "Hey Marshak, what you doing?" He said hi and came in our exam room a few minutes later. Then I asked him "Are you going to be a Dr someday"? Mama reminded me that he is a Dr and then I told him that I was going to be a firefighter someday when I get bigger. Mama got Bella undressed for the Dr to check her out, and I told the Dr that she has little "nibbles" like me and daddy, but mama feeds Bella with hers and hers are a little bit big! I missed my last swim class because I was sick, but they called and said that I still passed. Saturday was Valentine's day and mama made us heart shaped waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, they were delicious! I got two new puzzles and Bella got a red monkey. Daddy and mama put the floor down in my playroom, I had fun watching. We were still sick on Sunday so we didn't go to church, but the weather was nice so we worked outside. I found a big mud puddle to jump in on the way to get the mail and I got a Valentine. Mama worked on Monday and we went to papa and grandma's house. We built legos and I sang Jesus loves me and Mr Sun to try to get the sunshine to come out before nap but it didn't work. We played outside in the sunshine again on Tuesday with mama and I gave Bella a ride on my four wheeler, she laughed the whole time.

Bella
Despite my nasty cough and runny nose, I am still very happy. I think Dr Marshak thought mama was silly for bringing me in because I was so smiley and happy. All four of my top front teeth are through now, but I still bite mama while I'm nursing sometimes. I will eat anything mama makes for me now. I even got to try strawberry yogurt that she made me on Valentine's day. I pull myself up to everything now and even take a few steps while holding on to my walking toys. I had fun at grandma's, I found some beads and I twirled them around a lot. I also went all over the place in the walker.  I spent more time outside in the stroller and just crawling on the patio on Tuesday. I really enjoyed my four wheeler ride with Jace!

Crazy Week!

Last week was a bit crazy because mama had to work a bunch and papa was sick,  so we couldn't go to grandma and papa's house. On Tuesday grandma watched us at uncle Nick and aunt Lori's house. I had fun playing with all of their toys.  I liked playing one of their guitars the most. Mama got done early so that we could make it to my swim class on our way home.  We went to workout the next morning and there were lots of other kids to play with. We had lots of fun doing flips on the couch there.  I helped daddy and mama on Thursday in the play room,  we cleaned and daddy put some stuff on the floor that goes under the laminate flooring. Mama worked on Friday and was on call on Saturday,  so we stayed home with daddy.  I helped him clean out the ditch when it was nice outside and played with legos and cars inside when it was raining. On Sunday,  daddy had to work too so Bella and I went with mama to one of her friend's house,  Miss Netty. It rained most of the day,  so after breakfast we watched Frozen.  I took my blocks and built some towers with Miss Netty and took a good nap after lunch. I watched some dirt bike races with Mr Mike, then we went to Costco shopping in the afternoon and we saw grandma working there. I like eating the snacks there that she hands out.  Mama made pizza for dinner and got called into work after bath. Miss Netty put me to bed, but I got up a couple of times for a drink and to pee.  Bella cried when mama got home and that woke me up, so we were all awake for a couple of hours and didn't get much sleep.  Because mama worked late, she didn't have to work on Monday. After breakfast, we stopped to visit mama's friend Barb on the way home. She had some puzzles and cool legos that I played with. I started coughing and getting a cold that morning and took a big nap when we got home.  My cough got worse throughout the day, so daddy stayed home with us on Tuesday while mama went to work again.  I didn't feel very good, but we had a pretty good day. We had dinner when mama got home and then daddy had to go to work for the night. Bella took a few steps behind her walking toy so I tried to race her on my stick horse, I still won! Mama says the craziness is over, but now she, Bella and I are all sick:(

Bella
Uncle Nick and aunt Lori have a walker at their house and I ran all over the kitchen in that thing. They also got a new puppy that was very entertaining for me, it chased me everywhere. I played with blocks and snuggled grandma too.  At the gym, there were three other boys and Jace to play with and entertain me. I like climbing up to everything and standing up now. I crawl on my hands and knees now and am very speedy.  I even stood up in the bath one night, but mama wasn't as happy as I was about it. I wouldn't drink my bottle for daddy, but was pretty good otherwise. I cut a couple more teeth and still have one more ready to come through. I was a happy girl at Miss Netty ' s house,  but I didn't sleep too great.  I gave Barb lots of smiles and played with a mirror that she had, then I slept all the way home. I still didn't drink my bottle for daddy on Tuesday, but I ate food. I learned to stand up behind a walking toy and take a couple of steps!  I am so proud of myself, and like to clap when I am happy too:)

Silly Kids!

We spent the day with daddy last Tuesday while mama went to work.  We played with puzzles and legos and read books.  After my nap,  papa and grandma came to visit.  Grandma just got home from Pennsylvania.  We played until it was time to go to swim,  they came and watched that too. It was beautiful and sunny on Wednesday and Thursday, so I played outside while daddy and mama built Alli a dog house.  I rode my bike and four wheeler a bunch. My friend Maren came over on Friday while miss Tami went to the hospital to have baby Maddox. We built blocks,  played doctor,  put puzzles together and watched the beginning of Frozen. We didn't fight and we had lots of fun. Maren's daddy came to get Maren while I was napping,  so she could go meet her new baby brother. Daddy and mama almost got the dog house finished on Saturday,  but daddy had a bunch more chores to do outside too.  Daddy had to go back to work on Sunday,  we stayed home and caught up on inside chores because it was raining.

Bella
I am crawling much better on my hands and knees now,  but I have the three new teeth coming through all at the same time.  I have been a little cranky lately,  but I like to chew on everything.  I really like to pull myself up on the coffee table, but mama tells me no. I don't like that word and if anyone says it to me, my lower lip sticks out and I start to cry. Jace and Maren played and jumped with me and I was a happy girl. Maren even held my hand and I thought it was really silly. Jace fed me my cereal on Sunday morning,  I squealed and smiled a lot. We made big messes for mama to clean up, but it was fun. I enjoy my bath time so much that I cry when I have to get out. At bedtime when mama goes in to tuck Jace in and say prayers, I like to crawl down the hall and find them. I try to climb into his crib with him and I also like to snuggle his stuffed moose.
