Snow fun at grammy and pappy's!

Mama, Aunt Linda and I went out to play in the snow after my nap on Saturday. I didn't want to go back inside, not even for hot cocoa. Aunt Linda got me a remote control car, and I had lots of fun running it around in the house. I made up to grammy right away, but it took me until Sunday morning to warm up to pappy, but once I did I always wanted to know where he was. I even sat on his lap and watched some tractors on TV. On Sunday, Aunt Lori's family came over to visit, and Danny, Kayla, mama and I all went out into the snow to play. Danny pushed me a lot because mama was tired from our morning outing into the snow. Mama thought she would give me a push on the sled and get it on video, but I stayed on top of the snow and kept going. When I started to pick up speed down the hill, she dropped the camera and started running down the hill after me. She wasn't quite fast enough, because at the same time that I launched off of a snow pile into the driveway, so did she and she crashed harder than I did in the driveway. I looked at her and said "fun mama, more" then I saw that she was still laying in the road and I said "Mama crashed". On Monday, mama and I went to great grandma's to pick up papa then we went out for lunch. Aunt Tammie came back to grammy and pappy's to visit after lunch. She got me a new truck and a phone that I played with. When I was hungry she got me a snack and sat at the table with me while I ate it. That night, I ate a big dinner and shared a bowl of cereal with Aunt Linda for dessert. We had to get up really early on Tuesday for our plane trip home.

Fun at great grandma's!

We finally got our suitcase so that I could go outside and play in the snow! Mama and I built a snowman and I jumped off of great grandma's porch into the snow a bunch of times. Great grandma has lots of potty treats and I peed on the potty several times to get them. sometimes she would sneak me a potty treat when mama wasn't looking. We went to Aunt Dot's house and I had fun playing with Ashley, Lacey and Mackenzie. They had a remote control car that I had lots of fun playing with. Uncle Charlie and Aunt Pat came to visit one day and I had fun playing with them, I even was willing to go home with Uncle Charlie when he said I could go with him. Edie came to visit too, and she brought me a ball and some fun trucks to play with. I sat on her lap and watched a video of her dog on her Ipad  and I really enjoyed that. Great grandma taught me how to give Eskimo kisses and I helped her with her dusting. On Saturday morning we headed to visit my grammy and pappy and stay for the remainder of our trip.

 

 

 

Airplane ride

Papa, mama and I went on an airplane to visit our family in Pennsylvania. The first plane was very bumpy, I thought it was funny, but mama didn't. On the next plane, I had my very own seat. I went all day without a nap. When we got to Chicago, we missed our plane and had to stay in a hotel. We slept there for 3 hours and then headed back to the airport to get on another plane. I sat on papa's lap and watched Barney and was a very good boy. In Philadelphia, we had to wait awhile to get on our last plane ride and I finally fell asleep in the stroller. Mama carried me onto the plane and I slept the whole way. Aunt Dot came to pick us up, and I gave her a big hug. Papa and mama were glad to be here, but I didn't mind the buses and airplanes. We didn't get our suitcase so I couldn't go play in the snow when we got to great grandma's. I got a bath and went to bed at 7. I slept really good and papa took me for a sled ride out the driveway to get the paper. Hopefully we get our suitcase today so I can play outside more, but I'm having fun at great grandma's.

Happy Valentine's day!

Daddy came home on Thursday and I was excited to see him. We played and read lots of books. Daddy and mama went to the gym and I had fun playing with Miss Amber and watching them workout. On Valentine's day when I got up, I had a present to open. I got a sock monkey, a new book and a new outfit! Then mama made me a special breakfast of heart-shaped waffles with strawberries and yogurt, they were really yummy. After nap, mama and I headed to Roseburg so mama could get ready for her friend's baby shower. I went to Costco with her, then we went to uncle Nick and Aunt Lori's house for a candle light spaghetti dinner. I was excited to see all of them, and had lots of fun. They gave me a kids computer to use when I go on the airplane soon, I had fun playing it. On Saturday, I spent the day with papa and grandma. I helped make some of the snacks for the shower before mama left. We got home pretty late last night and I went straight to bed when we got home. This morning we went to church, then played outside this afternoon when the sun came out. Mama even took me for a ride on the four-wheeler.

Fun with papa and grandma!

On Monday, my friend Maren came to play. We had a tea party and got along quite well. We napped at different times, so while Maren was napping we went outside to play. I, of course, headed straight for the puddle in the driveway and jumped right in. When it was time to go in to dry off, I insisted on taking my boots off myself. Miss Tami and mama thought it was funny when the water poured out of my boot. On Tuesday, papa and grandma came to visit. Mama had lots of projects to do and daddy has to work a lot this week. Mama had projects for papa to do too, and Grandma and I mostly just had fun :-) papa built me my very own stool for the bathroom so I can wash my hands and brush my teeth. That night, daddy and mama went on a date, and I stayed with papa and grandma. Mama got everything done she wanted, with papa and grandma's help. Today, grandma and I were being silly, we decided to trade glasses. I was ready for sunshine, even though it was pouring rain outside. Papa and I stacked blocks in my room while grandma helped mama do a sewing project, and I made grandma a "foothie" in my play blender. Papa and grandma left this afternoon, and mama and I took a bubble bath after dinner. At bedtime I really wanted to see my daddy, but mama said he will be home tomorrow after lunch. I can't wait to see him!

My baby giraffe

Last weekend I said my first naughty word. I couldn't get my snuggle bunny from the crib and I was very frustrated, so I said SOB. Mama told me that was not a nice thing to say and don't say it again, I responded by saying "daddy mad". We went to church on Sunday and I graduated to the next step Bible school class. I was so excited to play with all of the new toys, I didn't mind that daddy and mama left. On Monday I spent the day with papa and grandma, then mama and I spent the night there. The next morning, we went to mama's friend's house Miss Kim. She has a baby named Brinley and I liked playing with her toys. When we got home, we went outside and I helped mama load the wood box while daddy split wood. My friend Maren came over on Wednesday and we had fun playing most of the time. We made a Valentines day craft, and the paint really tickled my toes! I found this baby giraffe in my toy box and decided it was going to be my baby. I like to read to the baby, share my snacks and sometimes I put baby in a time out. I now have to sleep with the baby and Dee (snuggle bunny). Today we went to a two-year old birthday party. I had a lot of fun jumping on trampolines, jumping in the foam pit, walking on the balance beam and jumping in the bounce house. When it was snack time, I didn't want to go, I wanted to keep jumping :-) Daddy and mama had to run a few errands before we headed home. I was exhausted and fell asleep on the way home.

Busy week!

Monday mama woke up with a toothache, so I went to the dentist with her because daddy was at work. I was a very good boy and the dentist was very nice. He told mama she needed a root canal on her tooth and referred her to another dentist. Tuesday was mama's ob Dr appointment and daddy was teaching a class at work so I went with mama again. I wasn't quite as well behaved as at the dentist. I opened the door and ran out in the hall while mama was going potty. I was in a time out when the Dr came in. The Dr listened to the baby in mama's tummy and said that my baby sister is a very active little baby. Mama was able to get into the dentist for a root canal on Wednesday, so I stayed home with daddy. In the afternoon it was sunny, so we went outside to play. I went straight to the mud puddle in the driveway and jumped in. Then I looked at mama and said "mama, watch!", before jumping in again. I finally dropped my second nap this week, but I'm still adjusting. Daddy and mama were busy all day Thursday getting things done around the house and outside. I helped mama dust mop the floor and rode in the wheelbarrow while daddy loaded the wood box. On Friday Miss Lori, our old neighbor, came over to see our house and to see me. She brought me a new toy and I showed off my tumbling moves. That night daddy and mama went to cross fit and Miss Amber watched me at the gym. There was a potluck afterwards, and I thought it was pretty fun to climb all of the way up to the top of the boxes and jump to someone close by. Today Miss Tami and Maren came over for the day, and the mamas tried to get some scrapbooking done. Maren and I did our best to not let them get too much done ;-) We played outside for a while and came in for Maren to go potty, I waited by the door for a while eating a snack and trying to be patient. When Miss Tami came back from town she brought a pizza for dinner. Mama managed to burn the pizza and two of the smoke alarms went off, making both Maren and I cry. After all of the chaos, all I kept saying was "whoa mama, whoa".
