I'm going to have a baby sister!

On Tuesday, mama had her ultrasound to see if the baby in her tummy was a boy or girl. She didn't find out while she was there, they put the results in an envelope and she took it to the store with a big box to fill with balloons. The box was wrapped under the tree for us to open on Christmas, pink balloons for a girl, blue for a boy. On Christmas eve, we went to church and sang Christmas songs and I enjoyed that very much. We then delivered a food and present basket to a family with seven children.  When I woke up on Christmas morning, there was a new table and chairs next to the Christmas tree that Santa brought for me. I went right over and sat in one of the chairs to check out all of the other presents under the tree. First we opened our stockings and then the rest of our  presents. I got a toy chainsaw, some new cars, a little firetruck and some bath toys. I got money from Great Grandma and I put it in my piggy bank all by myself. We then went outside so daddy and mama could do a workout. Papa and grandma came while we were out there. They brought me more gifts from Pappy, Grammy and Aunt Linda. I got my very own kitchen and shopping cart, I love them both. At last we got to open the big box with balloons to see if I am going to have a brother or sister. We opened the box to find PINK balloons, we were all so happy to find out we are having a baby girl. I loved the balloons and pushed them around in my shopping cart the rest of the day. After nap, Papa, Daddy and I went outside to burn some brush, papers and boxes. I helped rake the leaves, slid down the hill on my bottom and rode around in the wheelbarrow as much as possible. We had hot cocoa and after nap had a tasty dinner of tri tip, sweet potato salad and jalepeno poppers. Papa and Grandma headed home after dinner and I played with all of my new toys until bedtime. It was a spectacular Christmas day, Happy Birthday to Jesus!
