New addition to the family!

Friday mama had to work and I spent the morning with daddy. We went for a hike behind the house when we got up. We went by the neighbors' house and visited and came home for my nap. Mama was home when I woke up, she got off early. We played outside, walked to the mailbox and cleaned out mama's car. This morning daddy, mama and I all went for a hike behind the house. When we got back, we went to the Saturday market. After lunch we headed to Medford to meet a dog that was for sale. We weren't there long before we knew we wanted to take her home. She is a two year old boxer and her name is Alli. She is very gentle with me, and I love giving her kisses. We brought her home and I played with her in the back yard while daddy barbequed. I can't wait to play with her again tomorrow.

Fun at home

Tuesday it was just mama and me, daddy had to work. Mama did some cleaning, but mostly just spent the day with me. While she was vacuuming, I went into my room and found a book to read. Mama found me in my rocking chair reading. We played outside and walked out to get the mail. During dinner there were deer in the front lawn that I watched while I ate. Yesterday I helped daddy sweep the garage floor and played with my Tonka trucks outside. We all walked to get the mail, and I was determined to push my truck all the way there. Mama made me leave it after a little ways and I got it on the way back! This morning mama went to workout and I stayed home with daddy. We read books and I took a good nap so he could finish his garage floor project. This afternoon we headed to Medford to get an armoire that mama found on craigslist. We went grocery shopping while we were there. I was too exhausted on the way home, so I fell asleep before we made it home.

More projects!

On Friday daddy and mama had to work, so I went to grandma's. I had fun with my cousins building a pretend pirate ship on the patio, ahoy! After mama got done with work, we headed home and grandma came with us. Saturday morning grandma, mama and I went for a hike behind the house. I rode on grandma's back. When daddy got home, he and mama took out the kitchen sink and replaced it with a new one. They also added a garbage disposal, but I played outside with grandma most of the time. On Sunday daddy had to work again, and grandma and mama cleaned, organized, hung pictures and stacked the dryer on the washer. I helped clean the floors a little. Today mama had to work, so we took grandma home and I stayed with her. Papa got me put of the car this morning and mama brought in my diaper bag, but forgot to leave my snuggle bunny with me. All of my cousins were there today and I colored a dog picture while the others did crafts. Papa went and got snuggle bunny for me and came home for lunch. Thank goodness because I can't sleep without him. When mama was done working she picked me up and we went to her friend Joanie's house. We went for a walk and Miss Joanie played hide and seek with my snuggle bunny, it was so funny :-) I slept most of the way home, but woke up when we got home and I was so excited to see daddy!

Fun on the beach!

On Sunday, after daddy and mama got all of their chores done, we went on a river jetboat trip with our friends the Nelson's. We got on the boat when it was really hot, and the driver got us wet on the way down the river. I saw lots of birds, and had fun going really fast. We stopped at a nice place and ate a yummy dinner of chicken and ribs. Then went back on the boat for more fun. The driver got us soaked on the way back up the river by spinning the boat around. It was fun and I clapped a lot every time we did a spin. Monday daddy and his friend finished the garage floor, and then the Rogers came over for dinner. Maren stayed for bath time, but then went home. Tuesday morning daddy and mama took me to the Oregon coast in Bandon. I had so much fun running on the beach in my bare feet. I was laughing the whole time. I put my feet in the ocean and the water was cold, but I didn't mind too much. We walked through some rock caves and saw crabs, starfish, and seaweed. We ran into our friends over there and had lunch with them before they left town. We stayed the night in a hotel and got up this morning and headed back to the beach. We did more exploring and had so much fun. After getting some fresh fish and walking around Bandon, we headed home. I had so much fun that I didn't take a nap on the way home, and I hit the hay pretty early.

  

 

 

 

 

Fun at the fair!

Yesterday I helped daddy wash windows while mama painted over the red on the garage. After lunch it was pretty hot so we headed to town to run some errands. Daddy and mama said if I was a good boy, they would take me to the fair to see the animals. It was hot, but we went to the fair. We saw cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens and rabbits. I pet a big steer first, but it was laying down and when I saw one walking towards me, I ran the other way! There was a petting zoo where I pet some goats, a calf and some sheep. I had fun seeing all of the animals. Today was my friend Maren's 2nd birthday party. It was a kitty party, so we all wore kitty ears and whiskers. I played a fishing game and caught a toy! After the party, I came home to take a nap. Then I went out in the fenced area where the goats used to live, and helped daddy clean up goat poop. I am a good helper :-)

I love my new house!

Yesterday bampa, Lala, daddy, mama and I all went to the rental to clean and get the yard in ship shape. I napped for a while then helped vacuum. When we were all done we came home and I played in the yard. This morning when we got up, we all went for a hike around our property. Mama found some ripe blackberries that were very yummy. After nap, I helped put up our new mailbox and take down the old one. I had fun outside with bampa and Lala before they had to leave. I picked and ate a ripe tomato from mama's plants while I was helping her water them.Tonight I was being very silly, I found a card box and decided to get inside. Then I put it on my head for a hat, laughing the entire time. Lala brought me some new clothes, so I wore my new firefighter pjs to bed.

All moved!

The first night in the house was very good, I slept 13 hours, I adjusted well. Daddy and mama moved more on Thursday, and I just went along. Daddy and mama were very busy, so I tried to help but got in trouble some too. Daddy had to work on Friday, and papa and grandma came down to help move and finish painting. I helped grandma with some of the big boxes on the dolly. When we got back to our new house, grandma and mama were painting and papa and I relaxed on the porch until nap time. Mama had all sorts of projects for papa and grandma to do before all of the big and heavy things were moved. Saturday uncle Nick, Aunt Lori, and my cousins all came to help move the rest of our stuff. Mama and the guys all went to the rental to get more of our belongings, while grandma, Aunt Lori and all of us kiddos stayed at our new house. Wyatt and I took a big nap, the girls played, and Aunt Lori and grandma put mama's entire kitchen together for her. After everything was moved, we had a yummy dinner and everyone went home. Yesterday daddy, mama and I had a fun morning playing, then they unloaded lots of firewood in our wood shed. In the afternoon, bampa and Lala came to visit us. I learned to say bampa right away, and I like to follow him around. We are going to have a good day with them today, working on more projects and cleaning the rental.

Moving time

Daddy, mama, papa and grandma got a lot of painting done in our new house last weekend. I wanted to be where grandma and mama were when they were painting, so it made it difficult to get much done. Mama's friend Tami and my friend Maren came over to save me! Tami took us outside and played with us since it wasn't as smokey on Saturday. We played in a bucket of water, chased their dogs and watched some lizards. After dinner I went home with Tami and Maren for my first sleep-over. I was very good and had fun playing with Maren. I stayed until dinner on Sunday, then went home with daddy and mama. They all got a lot done at the me house without me there. I went to grandma's on Monday because daddy and mama had to work. It seemed nice to play outside without any smoke. Yesterday and today daddy, mama and I cleaned and moved a lot of stuff. I was a big helper with packing and moving. So much that I took a 2.5 hour afternoon nap today. We moved my entire room today, so we are all spending the night in our new house for the first time tonight!
