Oh, The Places You Will Go!

The Friday before school starts, we went to the school to see which teacher we will have for the year and went in to meet them. Mrs Garcia is my second grade teacher and I am so excited! My buddy Quinton is in my class too. My teacher loves camping, so everything in her room is camping themed. Mama slept outside on the back patio with us under the stars the weekend before school started and we even watched a movie on Bella's new projector! I was so excited to start back to school and excited that Bella is there this year too. Mama and Miss Jessica take turns taking us and picking us up from school. Ryne has my teacher from last year, this year. Soccer started the same week as school and I really like my team and coach. I got to go bear hunting with daddy behind the house one morning, and I spotted a bear all by myself. Daddy couldn't get a shot, but it was very fun and exciting. I'm very interested in the moon right now, so I have been researching information for fun. We went to grandma and papa's after one of my soccer games and mama and grandma did a bunch of freezer corn. Mama let me stay up to see the full moon. Then on Sunday, we went to Hayes' birthday party before coming home. Mama started helping in my classroom and just in time for our camping party at the end of the month. Mrs Garcia set up a huge tent in the classroom and mama sewed a stuffed campfire for us. We ate smores and read with flashlights in the tent. My favorite part of school is definitely my teacher, she is so much fun! That weekend, lala came and watched me play soccer, and I read my 100th book. So we went to target and got a new race track for my reward, it is awesome!

Bella
I got all dressed up in the dress that mama made me to go meet my kindergarten teacher. I was a bit shy, but I did meet my teacher at a pool party this summer at the Tocher's. Mrs.Gallegos is very nice and I'm excited to have her as my teacher. The sleep out on the patio was a lot of fun and the movie and popcorn too! Mama helped me sew some squares that miss Audra got me to make a blanket for my babies. I can't wait to finish it. We helped mama pack our lunches for our first day of school. I only had to go one day the first week, so the teachers could make sure they had the classes divided correctly. I lost my second bottom tooth, and the tooth fairy brought me a $2 bill. We had fun at grandma and papa's house, I even rode Jace's big bike a popped a wheelie on it! Hayes' birthday party was wet, but fun. My first real day with all of my classmates was the next Monday. Daddy and mama dropped us off at school and then they hiked pilot rock (the hike they did on their first date) and went out to lunch before coming back to pick us up from school. They have been married for 10 years! The first week of school went well and we get to take something to school each day that starts with the letter of the alphabet we are learning. I started doing hip hop dance class instead of gymnastics and I am having fun with it. Mama has made us special snacks after school when she is home and my favorite is apples with peanut butter and marshmallows that look like a mouth. We even got to ride the bus home one day, and mama picked us up on the four wheeler! Mama is also helping out in my class on Monday mornings and I love having her there. Daddy went hunting at the end of the month and lala came down to watch soccer and went to the go cart race track with us and some friends from the gym. Daddy got a big buck and we were excited to see him when he came home.

Epic Adventures!

My friend Jaden from school invited me to Friday night frenzy at her church and we had so much fun! We had tricycle races and played laser tag. We also went to the library and blew lots of bubbles outside. Crossfit panned a trip to crater lake to hike and go swimming in the lake. We didn't even know you could do that, but we were excited to go. Daddy had to work, but we rode with miss Audra and Demian so we could watch a movie on the way. It was a sunny day and the lake was beautiful. We hiked down to the lake and there was a big rock to jump off of into the lake. Mr Kurt went first and waited in the water for me to jump. It was so awesome!!! Mama jumped after me, but she took a long time to jump;) We had snacks down there and played in the water some more before hiking out. We had a picnic back by the lodge and then we headed home. I wished daddy was there for the adventure because it was epic! After we told him about it, we went back the following week after a trip to the water park in Sunriver with Lala. We had so much fun at the park, then did some school shopping and stayed in a hotel. We went to crater lake again on our way home. Daddy and I jumped off the rock this time, mama and Bella just watched. It was another fun adventure. We made lots more sauce, canned more peppers and picked lots of blackberries too that next week. One day we picked blackberries with the Hill's and the boys and I had fun floating in the pond and swimming in the river after picking our buckets fill of blackberries.

Bella
While Jace went to church with Karen, mama painted my toe nails took me to dinner and Miss Audra took pictures of me in her sunflowers, it was special! I had lots of fun on the Crater lake adventure, I even swam in the child water even though I didn't plan on it. The chipmunks there were really friendly and cute! Mama's friend Amber came to Roseburg, so we went to get mom's house and played in the river all day, we even picked blackberries and pears at her house! I helped mama a bunch this year with sauce, peppers and pesto. We had a great time at the water park with lala and went out to a yummy dinner too! I was a very good blackberry picker when we went to the Hill's, I picked the most of all the kids and talked miss Christie's ear off. We played in the Applegate river before going home and mama made a delicious blackberry pancake the next morning! We also spent a day at miss Audra's naming Apple pie filling. All of us kids did taste tests and played. The week before school, we had play dates, pool time and the Hammers took Jace and I to the movies and ice cream while daddy and mama floated the river on their paddle boards. Miss Audra and mama made 20 meals each to put in the freezer for her work days and sport practice days when school starts, while all of us kids played. I am ready for school, I can't wait to start!
