All American Kids!

Jace
We started July off by going to story time at the library and Miss Annie was there with her puppets. Her puppets were really funny and then she painted our faces. Mama was on call for the 4th of July so we stayed home with daddy. He took us to home Depot for kids workshop and we went to roseburg to help mama clean the rental since the renters moved out. There was a lot of work and lots of mold in the house, so we played on the patio and in the attic. Daddy had to go home on Sunday evening because he worked on Monday. Papa and grandma came home from camping on Monday morning and watched us while mama painted. Then we all went to a party at Mr Kelly's house and swam in his pool. Next we went to uncle Nick's party and swam in Mr Henry's pool with our friends. Later that week,  bampa and lala came for daddy's promotion ceremony. Bampa made a pond for us down at the creek that is perfect for Bella and I to play in! We all got dressed up for the ceremony and then went to dinner after. I was sad when bampa and lala left the next day. We spent several more days in roseburg while daddy and mama worked on getting the rental ready to sell. We also stayed with papa and grandma for 4 days while daddy and mama went rafting on the lower rogue. One of the days we spent at uncle nick and auntie Lori's house too.

Bella
I really enjoyed the puppet show and held very still while miss Annie painted my face. I liked building with my daddy too. I watched Jace swim in the pool for a bit before I wanted to jump in with him. Then I was all warmed up for the next party and pool! I love playing in the creek, especially in the pool that bampa built for us. I gave he and lala lots of snuggles and loves while they were here to visit. We played in the attic at the rental and also read books on the living room floor after the new carpet was installed. We went to the park with grandma and our cousins and were pretty good while daddy and mama were rafting.

Summertime Is Fun Time!

We have been picking strawberries from the garden and picking Blueberries every trip to Roseburg we make. I picked 1.5 pounds all by myself one trip. Mama ended up freezing 75 pounds total! We also picked cherries off of papa and grandma's tree. We signed up for a kids dash and I ran super fast around the track to the finish. We all got metals and then we played in the bounce houses for a while. Daddy had an interview at work for a promotion, and he got the job! We are all so proud of him, now he gets to drive the fire engine when he works. Daddy left on a boys rafting trip on father's day, so we colored him pictures and made him a card and had breakfast with him before he left. Mama tried to get more landscaping done while daddy was gone, because she was planning a promotion party. I got to go to the water park with Maren and even got to spend the night with her. We had so much fun playing and staying up late talking!  It has been pretty hot, so we spend the hottest part of the day playing in the creek. It is so much fun! One of the days that mama worked, papa and grandma took us to the movie theater to see Finding Dory. We ate popcorn and it was a great movie!  Daddy's promotion party was a couple of days after he got back, and there were lots of people that came to our house. I had a great time playing with all of the kids, and we had my favorite tacos. We went to church in the park with the Rogers family and we danced and sang. We had burgers and played on the bounce houses and slides after church:) I was a good big brother and waited in line with Bella and told her how much fun the slide was gonna be!

Bella
I love fruit of any kind!  Jace and I fought over the berries in the garden sometimes, but at the blueberry farm, mama parked my stroller under a bush and I ate Blueberries the entire time. All I could say is mmmmm and yummy! I was excited to get my jogging attire on for our big race, but had never ran in an official race before so I didn't know what to expect. I ran really fast half way to the finish, then stopped and started crying. Mama tried to encourage me with some Blueberries, and I finally went across the finish, but I wasn't happy. I told daddy happy father's day, and helped mama make muffins for him and his friends. (I made a bit of a mess, but helped clean up). I had a cold, so I didn't go to the water park with Jace and Maren. . Instead I stayed home to help mama and went to bed early. My favorite part of the movie theater was the popcorn!  Then I was excited to see daddy when we got home that night. We had a busy couple days before the party, and I wore a dress with a tuttu on it for the actual party. There were lots of kids, but I hung with the adults because I learned that if I smile and say please, they will keep giving me chips and dip :) church in the park was great, and I loved the bounce house!
