Fun Adventures for the new year!

We started the year off with a home depot craft and some snow adventures with my friend Maren. It snowed a few times at the house so we just went sledding behind their house once and behind our house the next. We had fun racing each other in separate sleds and we rode together too! The first trip, both of our families went and we had a fire and a warm lunch. Then next trip was with the mommies and we had fun sledding then too, but had a cold picnic lunch. Another fun adventure was my first ice skating experience. We went with my buddies Demian and Enzo and our mamas. At first they gave us some plastic things to push and help us skate without falling. I was doing so well that I gave mine back and skated on my own. I did so well, and my mama was so proud of me. We all took a hot cocoa break but then headed back on the ice. My buddies and I didn't want to leave, we had so much fun! We did play at the park for a bit before leaving. I'm still in my swim class and doing great, I learned to dive and swim across the pool without my teacher's help. My friend Lucas turned 3 and we went to his birthday party at kid zone and had a great time. One night when mama was vacuuming the floors, I told her "mama, I would very appreciate it if you would make me dinner instead of vacuuming." And she told me that since I asked politely, that she would stop and make dinner:) Last weekend we spent at papa and grandma's house while mama was on call. We went to uncle Nick and aunt Lori's house one day while papa and gramma had to work. We had a great time playing with all of their toys and with our cousins. They made us a very cool game of tic tac toe, Bella has ladybugs and I have frogs.

Bella
A happy new year and positive potty progress. I have been telling mama that I need to potty and running to the bathroom. I have made it lots and missed lots too, but it is progress. I am still having lots of fun riding in our dune racer with Jace, and even gave the strider bike a try. I had fun sledding and eating snacks by the fire with Maddox. Daddy and mama hung a family picture in the living room and I point to it often to show mama that dada is on there. I am still very much a daddy's girl. I enjoyed watching the boys ice skate and hope to go someday too. I played in the tubes and fun balls at the kid zone party. I played in there with my friend Aven, and the a couple of balls at her when I want being very nice. Mama says she doesn't appreciate my tude lately and I have had several time outs. Jace is very kind to me and shares with me and let's me play in his room which I love. Mama says I could be kinder to him;)

Our sores stopped hurting,  but we were still contagious.  It snowed a bunch at the top of the Mt behind our house,  so we put my snowboard,  our sled and all of our snow clothes in the jeep and drove to the top. We were there in about 10 minutes and there was at least a foot of snow up there! I tried out my snowboard but I needed mama to hold my hands while I went down the hill because I couldn't balance very well.  We went down on the sled a bunch of times and it was fun:) when it was time to go, daddy got Bella out of her snow clothes and into the jeep while mama and I started sledding down the road towards home.  We went super fast and we were laughing really hard. We were trying to hurry before daddy came in the jeep. Our sledding day ended when he caught us and we went home for lunch.  The sores were all dried up by Wednesday so mama took us to kids workout and a bunch of my friends were there. After nap,  we left for grandma and papa's because mama was on call and because we missed them.  I was so excited to go, that I even pack my bag all by myself. I cleaned up all of the toys while Bella pulled more books out onto my floor. I looked at her and said "how many times do I have to tell you, we are picking up not taking out!" Mama had to go to work as soon as we got there, so we met grandma after work and she drove us to her house. We woke up before mama went to work the next morning to open our Christmas presents:) They got us our very own barn, tractor and a bunch of animals. I also got a lightening McQueen lunch box. I'm excited to take it on a picnic. The Wagner's got me a camo watch and I'm trying to learn the time. We played with the barn and animals with our cousins all day long. We did go outside for a little bit and made a big nest to play in with all of the bushes that grandma trimmed. We didn't really want to go home when mama came, but she wanted to get home and off the road because it was new year's eve.  Happy New Year!

Bella
I had fun sledding and playing in the snow. I struggled to stay awake on the drive home and got mad at mama for trying to keep me awake. On Tuesday morning I told mama I had to poop and she sat me on the potty and I pooped.  We were all so excited and I got some yummy teddy Grahams. Mama put big girl pants on me and we took pictures for our thank you cards. I went on the potty on Wednesday too and got more treats. I was so hyper and crazy at the kids open gym on Wednesday. Miss Audra pushed us around on one of the mats and I jumped into the foam pit all by myself. I had a lot of fun! I was excited to see papa and grandma when we got to Roseburg.  I loved the barn and animals they got me and my Frozen lunch box. I got a shopping cart and a bunch more play food. I like to put the food in my cart and in my lunch box. The Wagners got me a princess headband. Grandma read me lots of books and I played baby with Shea for a bit too. I couldn't stay awake for the drive home, and went straight to bed when we got home.

We built lots of fun things with our new legos while we were stuck at home. Daddy stayed home from work with us on Tuesday so mama could go to work and get out of the house.  When she got home,  daddy went to work for the rest of the night. We rented some Christmas movies and I loved the grinch movie the best!  Mama made popcorn one night and we had a family movie. Wednesday mama and I started to get some bumps on our hands and feet and by that night we knew we had what Bella did:( we didn't sleep much that night due to the sores hurting.  Now we can't go anywhere for another entire week! Luckily it snowed on Christmas eve and we went outside and built frosty the snowman. I even remembered the carrot for his nose.  That night was super special because I had mama write a note to santa, left him some chocolates and slept in mama's bed with her. Daddy didn't get home until 8 the next morning and she didn't want me peeking at the presents.  We watched the little drummer boy and ate dry cheerios until daddy got there and then we had a yummy breakfast mama made. We were so excited to see that Santa came and he brought us a power wheels dune racer! We got so many other cool gifts too. I got a Nerf bow and arrow,  a spiderman fishing pole and tackle box and my very own snowboard.  I got some money, a movie and lots of fun card games too. I got some more legos and a cool inside soccer ball that slides on the floor. Mama even made me a hooded ninja turtle towel that is so cool. I had a great time playing with all of my new toys and we bundled up after nap too try out the dune racer. We rode all of the way out the driveway and back. We had a nice steak dinner,  but didn't see any of our other family or friends because we still had sores.  Daddy went to the gym for a workout on Saturday, and we played with all of our new toys. Daddy and mama worked on taking all of the decorations and tree down on Sunday since we were home. I was kinda sad Christmas was over but I know we really were celebrating Jesus' birthday.  I sang happy birthday to him before dinner on Christmas.

 

Bella
Mama helped me build a castle with my new legos, and we read lots more books. I had lots of fun in the snow and helped find the sticks for frosty's arms. I was so excited to wear my new pajamas with the tutu but when mama tried to take it off before bed I just kept pulling it back on. She let me sleep in it under my sleep sack:) The next morning I didn't know why mama wouldn't let me go out of her room until daddy got home, but when I saw the dune racer all I could day is wow! I also got a stroller for my baby, some play food, and a movie. I got a new book called 'I love you stinky face', and it is so silly! I got some money for my piggy bank and some dress up shoes. I got an oregon alphabet book and a beaver puppet too. Mama made me my very own stick horse so Jace and I can have races now. We watched my new movie tangled, which I didn't watch long, then I giggled the entire time we were moving in the dune racer. Whenever Jace would stop, I would start hitting him to go again. It was a blast! I helped take down Christmas decorations off of the tree but also helped unpack what daddy and mama already packed out of the totes.
