Christmas time fun!

Jace
On Sunday daddy worked and mama,  Bella and I drove to Roseburg after church. We met uncle Nick,  aunt Lori,  my cousins and aunt Linda at the Christmas craft fair. Santa was there but I was just happy waving to him and not waiting in a long line to talk to him.  We all had popcorn and we had fun there.  Aunt Linda went with us to Costco to shop and say hi to grandma, then we went to Lane's birthday party. He had a ninja turtle party and we all played legos and transformers until dinner then ate pizza. After dinner we played a fun game of pin the pizza on the turtle poster and then had cupcakes and sang happy birthday. Lane liked the bow that I picked out for him. We opened our Christmas presents from aunt Linda before heading home. She got me some cool socks and a whole bunch of new cars.  We gave her big snuggles and kisses before we left because she is flying back to Pennsylvania soon. Workout and swim on Monday then daddy finished the bridge with some gravel. Grandma was planning to come spend the day after she took Aunt Linda to the airport but her flight was canceled so they both came back to our place and stayed all day and night! We had fun playing candy land and legos. They also read us a lot of books. Aunt Linda bought us a new llama llama book that we read several times. We finished decorating the Christmas tree and it looks beautiful! Daddy was home for a few days, so he played with us while mama worked on some sewing projects. She even made me a super hero sweatshirt and I love it. I wore it 8 days in a row (Mama washed it while I was asleep). One night when mama got all of the Christmas cards done, I helped her by licking the envelopes while I went potty.  After workout one day we used the foam rollers to beat up on coach Chris, he loved it! We went to church on Saturday night and practiced our Christmas songs for the program the following week.

Bella
I was good at church and slept all of the way to Roseburg afterwards. I had fun at the Christmas craft fair and eating popcorn. I played in Hayes' room and loved playing with his kitchen and drum.  Aunt Linda got me a singing purse and some barn animals to play with. She also got me a bunch of pretty colored ponies. I love putting the animals in my purse to carry around. I showed aunt Linda when she came to our house again on Tuesday.   I had fun giving daddy snuggles and wanted him to hold me as much as possible. I am still amazed with the Christmas tree and all of the lights at our house. I had fun with the other kids at church on Saturday.

Snow fun Christmas tree hunting!

Jace
On Sunday morning we got all packed up to spend the day in the snow with a bunch of daddy and mama's friends.  Mama made Bella and I matching logger hats and I loved mine. (Bella didn't really want to wear hers.) Bella napped on the way there,  but I was too excited to play in the snow.  As soon as we got there I looked at another boy named Jace and said "I was thinking I need someone to pull me on my sled" and he agreed and pulled me around for a while.  Next we all went off to find our Christmas tree. Daddy and mama picked one out pretty quickly,  then there was lots of time to play.  We hooked about 7 sleds behind one of the four wheelers and someone pulled us for a bunch of really fun rides. I didn't want to get off only to get dry gloves and then back on the sled.  We stopped for some yummy chili and snacks and then more sled rides. I didn't want to leave,  I was having so much fun. Bella and I fell asleep on the way to pizza then ate dinner before heading home for beddy bye. Daddy and mama set the tree up and decorated the house with Christmas lights and decorations for a big surprise the next morning. Bella and I loved it. Daddy took us to workout and swim because mama was working. We headed to grandma's house on Tuesday because mama worked in Roseburg and were excited to see all of their Christmas decorations too. After workout, swim and nap on Wednesday, we drove to Medford for Bella's follow up appointment with the surgeon. We had a bit of time before, so we met our friends at the mall to see Santa. Santa was just heading for a break to feed his reindeer, so I just waved and said hi. We rode on some fun toys at the mall instead. Bella and I were very good while we waited for the Dr to come in. I shared a chair with Bella and tried to make her laugh. After her appointment we stopped by the fire station to say hi to daddy. We entertained them all by throwing some balls around and then we headed home for dinner. Thursday morning daddy and the neighbor worked on the bridge putting some big trees on the sides. We drove out to take them snacks and Bella and I played in the mud puddles, so we walked back home. Friday was workout and story time at the library and I picked out some Christmas books. I painted some snowflake crafts that mama and I made for bampa and papa.

Bella
I didn't like my snowsuit much, but I did like seeing all of the snow. Mama pulled us on the sled to go find our Christmas tree. I giggled a lot until I fell off, then I screamed. We went back by the fire to get warm and one of daddy's friends wanted to hold me. I went right to him and snuggled right in. He fed me pretzels and shared his chili with me. I always told Tom thank you and told him mmmm while I was eating. Daddy and mama kept coming to check on me, but I was content sitting on his lap for a couple of hours. I finally went to mama and went on some four wheeler rides with she and daddy. I went to sleep as soon as I got in my car seat to go. When I woke up Monday morning and saw the tree, decorations and lights I kept repeating "wow.... wow". I loved it all! I enjoyed spending the day with daddy and he read me lots of books. I was impressed with grandma's decorations too, and mostly said wow to her beautiful snow globe. I rode in the fire truck toy at the mall, but did not like Santa at all. I started to cry as soon as I saw him. I was very good at the Dr and had fun at the fire station. I have been getting into my dresser drawers and pulling clothes out and putting them on by myself. So Thursday, I found a pair of shorts to put on over my pants and mama let me wear them out to play in the puddles. I found a very wet and muddy one and sat right down in the middle of it:) I sat on Jace's pillow on the floor and listened to one of the stories at the library. Then I found some toys and played the rest of the time.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Jace
We had a big turkey dinner on Monday at papa and grandma's after mama got off of work. We all went around the table and said what we were thankful for,  I said daddy, mama and Bella.  We spent the night there and decorated gingerbread houses the next morning. Mine turned out so cool!  We went to Costco and headed home at naptime. We played with daddy when we got home. Mama cut my hair the next night and I checked out her work in the mirror, I approved.  We went back up to Roseburg to uncle Nick and aunt Lori's for thanksgiving day. I had fun playing with all my friends and their toys. Wyatt and I went outside and played ball with uncle Nick and jumped on the trampoline.  We went home before it got dark because it was supposed to get super cold again. We went to Joann's for a fabric sale on black Friday with mama then went to workout.  We went to home depot with my friends Aven and Demian to build a school bank then went to the park to play. It was about 24 degrees so we wore our snow suits. We slid down the frozen leaves on plastic trays that mama brought home from work. We had a great time. We headed home for lunch and took daddy some lunch since he and the neighbor were working on fixing the bridge.

Bella
I didn't eat much of the turkey dinner at grandma and papa's,  but enjoyed being entertained by all of my cousins and brother.  I helped mama a little on the gingerbread house but mostly just wanted the snacks to eat. I still really enjoy snuggling with daddy and bringing him books to read to me. I had so much fun playing at uncle Nick and aunt Lori's house on Thursday. I played with castles,  dress shoes and a metal lunch box most of the time. Shea and McKenna played baby with me for a bit too. I kept packing the lunch box, getting my boots and telling everyone bye bye.  I colored with crayons at home depot while Jace built a bank and then had a blast at the park. I slipped on the ice once and fell but I just brushed it off and kept going.  I slid down the leaves a few times, but mostly enjoyed chasing the wild geese around the field.
