Sleepy Day!

I slept until 8:30 this morning, because I knew mama needed some extra sleep after working moat of the night. Mama and I played a bit and I was ready for bed again by 10:30. I took a 2.5 hr nap this morning and 40 min nap this afternoon.It was warm and sunny today, so I practiced going down my slide and pushing my tonka truck around. One time I was going down the stairs backwards like I am supposed to and I thought I was on the ground but fell off the first step and hit my head on the concrete. I got another big bonker on my head, but mama is getting used to my scrapes and bruises by now. Mama and I visited daddy at the fire station and went to Costco too. Overall a pretty good day :)

12 month checkup

I got to spend the day with daddy, and I was an angel. We went to Mamas work and had lunch with her ( she looked silly in a hat and strange clothes). Then off to the dr to get shots, but I was a brave boy and cried only a little. Checkup was good, daddy and mama are doing alright taking care of me:)

Rough Day!

I was very clingy to mama today, I wanted her to hold me most of the time. I was very unpredictable, fine and happy for a minute then crying and needing her to snuggle me. Mama thinks I'm getting a new tooth, but all I know is I don't feel good. Mama works tomorrow, so I get to spend the day with daddy. He also has to take me to get my 1 year shots at the doctor, but I am planning to be a very brave boy:)

Yard Day!

The weather cooperated with my plans of going outside. I helped daddy push the lawnmower to the grass, and watched intently how he did it so that I could help someday:) I mastered the steps on my little tike's slide today. I fell off the top a couple of times trying to get my feet under me, but that didn't stop me! Mama took me for a walk to the gym where daddy just finished his workout, so that mama could do hers. Daddy and I stayed a bit to cheer on mama, but then we had to get home to make dinner and have bath time!

I Love Spaghetti!

Daddy and mama let me feed myself rotini and spaghetti  sauce last night for dinner. They took off my church clothes before I started, but I still managed to get sauce on my white socks!

separation anxiety

Mama and daddy went to a birthday party last night and left me home with my swim teacher, Kasey. I like Kasey, but when I finished showing her all of my toys, I realized daddy and mama weren't here anymore. I searched the house and when I couldn't find them I started to cry. I cried until I went to bed and found my snuggle bunny, he made everything OK.

I was happy to see mama when I woke up this morning. After breakfast we went to church, and they left me again at a place they call Bible School, but the other kids and toys did not entertain me like they usually do. I just wanted Daddy and Mama!

Rainy day!

Today was a rainy day, so I unfortunately did not get to play outside all day. Mama read me books, we stacked blocks and played hide and seek with daddy. The sun finally peeked out this afternoon, so mama let me eat my snack outside. We played on the porch until I decided to pick mamas flowers, then we had to go inside!
