Grab Your Jars, It's Canning Season!

We went to peach palooza with mama and miss Audra as usual, but it wasn't crazy busy and we were only there for a short time. We still got lots of peaches and then spent a few days picking, canning and playing at the Wieking's farm. We also made lots of pesto and delicious fresh salads from our garden. Daddy got us some collapsible bunk beds for our Treehouse and camping, they are so rad! We went to Felicity's birthday party at coach Matt's house and they have a super cool pool. I even did a back flip off the rock into the pool. We left that party and went to Ryan's birthday party where I shot his pellet gun and hit the target more than any of the adults. We also played corn hole and had burgers and ice cream cake.

Bella

I had a great time canning and harvesting with mama. Aven and I played in the sunflowers and caught honey bees and named them before they flew away. I helped mama pick berries and make lots of pesto because I love pesto on my pizza. I also picked tomatoes for the first batch of pizza sauce. Mama made Felicity a mermaid back pack and a fancy birthday cake. I swam in the pool at her party, but needed Jace to jump in with me before I would go by myself. There were some other girls to play with at Ryan's house and we rolled down the hill in the grass. Another night, we went to the Payer's house for dinner and made another fruit pizza and homemade salsa. I played with Maggie and she shared all of her toys, it was fun.

I worked out with daddy and mama a fair amount since they didn't do crossfit kids this year. Our garden was plentiful with green beans, strawberries zucchini and carrots. We helped mama make a yummy dinner and a fruit pizza for daddy's birthday. Daddy built us cornhole boards and we battled a lot on the back patio. Our neighbor Mya spends the days with us that day and mama both work and we always have a great time with her. Papa and grandma came to rogue river to camp for the week. Bella and I each got to spend one night with them by ourselves and then two nights with both of us. One of the days we all went rafting and it was so fun! We have had deer coming down to the house every day and as the creek gets lower we found that there were fish trapped in the pools. Bella and I tried to catch as many as we could and released them into the river and saved them. All but one that a duck flew down and ate just as we put them in the river. Demian had a birthday party on his actual birthday, so mama was at work and daddy took us. He stayed for the water balloon fight and then we played on the water slide for hours.

Bella

I just love gardening and harvesting and still love gathering eggs and playing with the chickens. We had fun biking, rafting, climbing trees and camping with papa and grandma. We spend lots of time in the treehouse and the creek. I am getting stronger and can now do 3 pull ups on our bar and climb to the top of our rope. I had fun with Aven at Demian's party and ate the yummy shark cake mama made. Jace and I both had our yearly check up with Dr Marshak and all was good. A tree fell on our zip line while we were gone, so daddy and mama used a hand saw to get it off of the line, then when mama was at work the next morning, we helped daddy get it all cleaned up while he could use his chainsaw. That Friday, we went to an outdoor party with live music and tacos and dancing. It was so fun to be out and see people again without masks. I really liked the band, so daddy gave me some money to pick out a shirt and I picked one with a donkey but didn't read it. Mama said she would wear it since it was inappropriate for me;) Jen even let me sit on one of their cows, it was awesome!
