Ready, Set, Learn!

Back to school and I'm ready! I have Mrs Lomica for my teacher this year, but I already miss Mrs Anderson. I have lots of buddies in my class from last year including Quinton and Jaden. My buddy Ryne is in kindergarten, so our parents take turns taking us and picking us up from school. I also started soccer and I have practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Quinton is on my soccer team too! Daddy and mama are letting me stay in ninja kour because I love it and I'm getting better at every class. I have a soccer game every Saturday and I play my hardest as long as I get enough rest. I take naps on Tuesday and Thursday so I can stay awake for soccer practice. Daddy and mama went for a trip to the coast after one of my soccer games for their anniversary. Grandma came to my game and then stayed with us until daddy and mama came home the next evening. I have also been practicing riding my motorcycle, and I'm feeling more comfortable riding.

Bella
I have been mama's big helper since Jace started school. We baked yummy cookies for an after school treat the first day and I also helped her make a bunch of freezer meals. We got a bunch of pears from Miss Carol, so we have been busy canning pears too. Mama took Rowan and I to open gym one day and we had a great time! I started my first season of soccer too. I play really hard for the half hour practice, then when the game starts, I'm not as excited. I don't really like the other team running at me, so I only kick the ball if it lands right at my feet:) Aven and I played in miss Audra's sunflowers and she took some photos. She even gave me my very own sunflower to take home. I put it in the corner of our garden and called it my flower shower. While Jace is at school, I like to catch butterflies, bugs and lizards and then show him when he gets home. Then we let them go after he looks at them, I think he is very proud of me. Daddy and mama have been working on a new table for in the living room to go behind the couch, I really love it!

Happiness is Homemade💕

As our summer is coming to an end, we have been getting lots of yummy vegetables from the garden. We have been making homemade pizza sauce with all of our veggies, and also pesto. I helped mama can tomatoes and make applesauce too! We love eating fresh tomatoes, green beans and cucumbers every day. Mama promised to have a sleep out on the back patio before school started, so we finally did it. We set up our sleep spots and had a great sleep under the stars. We both crawled in with mama around 3am because we were all cold. Daddy refinished the back deck and made it look really nice while we spent a couple of days at grandma's. Another fun thing on our staycation card was a place that had five bounce houses. We went there with our friends one morning after workout. We had a great time! Another day we went to the neighbor's house to play in a dirt pile they had delivered, we needed a bath as soon as we got home;) They built a new splash park in grants pass that just opened, so we went to check it out and had a lot of fun! Mama's friend Amber came over for pizza with her boyfriend Frank. Bella and I had to show them all of our fun things outside and then Mr Frank and I had a Nerf battle, it was great.

Bella
I like eating green beans from the garden the most and I was a big helper making pesto with mama. We didn't plant pumpkins, but there must have been some seeds in the compost pile, because we have 9 pumpkins growing in our garden! I set up my Frozen tent on the back patio for our sleep out. I didn't have a great sleep, but it was fun. One afternoon while daddy and Jace went behind the house to shoot guns, mama and I went to get pedicures. I chose to get my toenails painted yellow, my favorite color. My favorite part of the splash park is the horse that squirts water out of his mouth:) we built a fun football game at the home depot workshop too.
