Jace is 9!

Mama had an open workout the morning of my birthday, but everyone at the gym sang happy birthday and did nine burpees with me for a warm up. I had a big waffle breakfast and played most of the day. Bella got me a couple of nerf guns and a Lego kit and daddy got me some throwing axes and a couple of trappers books and snares. Mama got me a wrestling dummy so I can practice my moves on it without hurting Bella. I have really been loving reading hunting books by Lane Walker, mama says I'm her book on tape because I read to her in the car. I chose a Lego themed birthday, but still wanted a hot dog roast and chili by the creek. Daddy built me a target stand and got me a cool Target that has red paint in it if you hit it in the right spot. We all took turns with my throwing axes and got red paint everywhere. We also did a scavenger hunt and a couple of Lego games and zip lining of course. It was a super fun party and a beautiful sunny day.

It was Dr Suess' birthday and it was wacky dress up week, so we dressed up in stripes, as firefighters and had fun with it.  Daddy has been milling behind the house and Bella and I started making a fort in the middle of the blackberry bushes behind the house. Ryne came over one day to help me on the fort and we got super muddy and cold, but had so much fun. Alli dog has been having a harder time getting around and sleeps in the garage every night. Daddy and mama told us that it was time for her to go to heaven so she wasn't suffering any more. We were very sad and snuggled her and read books to her before going to ninja kour and gymnastics. Miss Tami came over while we were gone and gave her the medicine to make her sleepy before she went to heaven. It was a rough week, every time we went to the garage and she wasn't there, we cried. Daddy buried her up behind the house and we decorated her grave. We all miss her so much: ( We have been working out with daddy and mama at the gym and cheered mama on when she did the open workouts.
