It was kind of a crazy week at school because of a virus that is spreading and by Thursday, we were told we were going to miss school for a week before spring break until a few days after spring break. We said good bye to our teachers on Friday, and they gave us a big packet of schoolwork to do during that extra week. Two and a half weeks without school! My pirate birthday party was on Sunday, so Bampa and Lala came on Saturday. Bella's dance got cancelled, so we all went out for dinner to climate city instead. Mama made me a cool pirate costume for the party. The Wieking's, Tocher's, uncle and Wyatt and all the grandparents came to my party. First we found clues to a buried treasure and I dug it up. The treasure box was full of gold and silver dollars and also some chocolate coins. Next, we had sword fights on a plank over fake water and alligators. It was so fun! We went down to the creek and played before having chili, hot dogs, Mac n cheese and a watermelon pirate ship. After cake, we went back up to the house where we played games with balloons, swords and hooks. I opened my presents and I got some awesome gifts! I got a Lego Picachu, a hunting game for the WII, a moving robot to construct,a real bow and arrow, and Demian made me a pair of stilts. I practiced walking on my stilts until everyone left, then I practiced shooting my bow before going inside to play with all of my new gifts.
This week at school was fun and we had a dentist appointment right after school on Thursday. I was very brave and got lot lots of prizes there. I was super sad that the daddy-daughter dance got cancelled, but we had a nice dinner with bampa and lala. I helped mama make the fruit pirate ship and our pirate shirts. Jace's birthday party was so much fun, my favorite was the treasure hunt and the cake! We enjoyed the rest of the day with bampa and lala before they left the next morning. It also snowed that night, so we woke up to everything covered in white! On Tuesday evening, daddy and I had our time together to make up for the dance canceling. We went to the ceramic painting place and painted an elephant for me and a pirate skull piggy bank for Jace for his birthday. Then we went to In and Out and got our burgers to go. We drove to the park and ate them before we went to scoops and more for ice cream, it was a great night!
