The last weekend of January was the wrestling state championships in Salem. Mama booked our hotel room online for the night before and it ended up being a sketchy place, but we made it work. Bella and I had the pool all to ourselves and that was pretty fun. There were 59 kids in my weight bracket, so I wrestled 8 matches in 5 hours. Bampa, Lala, Papa and Grandma all came to watch. I only lost one match and ended up taking 3rd place. I even won to Sells my 8th match which I had lost to him twice this season. Daddy and mama were so proud of how I wrestled and I was proud of myself too. Mrs Garcia made math super fun by having super hero week. We wore fun masks and super hero clothes. We didn't have school that Friday, so we made another trip to Ashland to go ice skating with the Wiekings'. We actually got to ice skate this time and we had a lot of fun. Mama and daddy started writing something that they loved about Bella and I each day and put a heart on our door starting in February. We had 14 hearts on our doors by Valentine's day! We looked forward to seeing what they wrote each morning. We had several nice days in the next couple of weeks. We burned behind the house, hiked behind the house and burned down by the creek. We even had chili and hot dogs after building and playing in forts with Bella. Wrestling practice has let up a bit, but when coach had a practice, I was there. Daddy and mama let me sign up for one more tournament in Reno and then wrestling season was over. Miss Audra took pictures for our Valentine's and I also built a robot Valentine box for school. While we were at ninja kour one day, Miss Audra's goat had 3 baby goats. We got to go over there after school the next day while daddy and mama worked. We snuggled the baby goats for hours! My party at school was fun and mama came to help with the games. We went to miss Audra's right after school for another party:)
Bella
One night, while Jace and mama went to wrestling practice, I stayed home with daddy. We had banana smoothies and watched Pippie Longstocking (one of my favorite movies). Miss Audra also bought me a Pippi dress with polka dots. I had lots of fun at the hotel with daddy, mama and Jace. Jace and I dove for pennies in the pool. I gave all of my grandparents lots of snuggles at the tournament and we had yummy hamburgers on the way home! School is going really great, Mrs.Gallegos said I have been a rock star in class every day! I had so much fun ice skating and I even skated without a cheater this time:) we had pizza again and I ate a huge piece and asked for another half, we skated up an appetite. Jace and I had fun building a fort by the creek while mama cleaned up and daddy split firewood. We had a fire and smores were delicious! My handstands are getting so much better in gymnastics. Miss Audra's baby goats were so cute, I wanted to bring one home so bad. We snuggled them so much the day after they were born, then we chased them and caught them in the field after our Valentine party a week later. Mama came to my Valentine party at school and I made a super cute hippo Valentine box for all my valentines from my friends at school. We also made heart shaped scones for our teachers and for the party at miss Audra's.
