Happy 2020! I started the year off with double wrestling tournaments. I took first place at both and even beat Koegler (my rival this season)! I'm still doing ninja kour and loving that too. Coach always makes an obstacle course for us to race through and I won the time trial and got to ring the bell. I had a wrestling tournament almost every weekend in January, but I qualified for the classic and then went to sensational Saturday with Maddox and Maren and we had a great time. Mrs Garcia let me bring my wrestling metals to show the class when we went back to school. We had a busy week and it snowed and we lost power which cancelled school Thursday and Friday. We were still out of power and the passes to get to Bend were closed. We had to drive north to get east, so we stopped in Roseburg and picked up papa to go with us and left Bella to spend the weekend with grandma. Bampa, Lala and Grace came to Redmond and stayed in the same hotel so Grace and I swam in the hotel pool. The next morning I found out I was wrestling Tanner my first match. Jon Hill coached me because my coach was in Tulsa. I only lost by one point this time, and I was proud of that. I lost the second match too, which meant I was done wrestling at the tournament. I was very disappointed because Auntie Leanne and Uncle Tyler came to watch me too and I wanted to wrestle more. We had no school Monday, so miss Audra and mama planned an ice skating trip in Ashland. Unfortunately, the rink was closed, so we played on the playground and went on a walking adventure there. We ended our adventure with a large piece of pizza with our friends. We weren't disappointed because we still had a great day!
Bella
We started the new year off by meeting our CFGP friends and running twenty laps at the track with some push ups and sit ups mixed in. Mr Kurt brought pastries for us when we finished! I had fun playing with Lilly and watching Jace at his tournament and then had a great day spending the whole day with daddy while mama and Jace went to another tournament. We played games, snuggled and watched a movie! Sensational Saturday with the Rogers' kiddos was a lot of fun too. I was excited to go back to school and Mondays are always my favorite because mama comes to help in my class. I am starting to read books now and I read Dick and Jane while Jace does his reading. I woke up as soon as the power went out on Thursday and I screamed for daddy. We were excited about the snow but, we ate our breakfast with a lantern first. We went sledding on the neighbor's hill and I even rode the snurf board down without falling! We went to get some water and do some laundry and shower at miss Audra's for our trip and she even gave us smores cookies that she made. That weekend, I got to spend the weekend with grandma and we called it our Grabella weekend. It was so special, we went to her favorite coffee shop, played games, baked and went to the movies to see Frozen 2. I rode my bike around the park while grandma and Miss Linda walked and then played games until daddy, mama and Jace came back. We had so much fun on our adventure in Ashland with the Wiekings. We found lots of fairy houses and had yummy pizza too!
