We started November off with a hot dog roast by the creek with our friends and also auntie Leanne and Grace came after we went to bed that night. I had a wrestling tournament the next morning and Bella ran a race with Grace and auntie Leanne. I won all three of my matches and got first place. That night we had pizza and watched the Grinch on the back patio. We played with Grace a bunch before she had to go home the next day. We only had school a couple of days because of conferences, so we went to papa and grandma's for a sleepover. All of our cousins came for nachos and a movie. Even the neighbor kids came for the movie. We had so much fun. We stayed one more night and then we were surprised to see mama was with miss Audra to pick us up from papa's. They said we were going on a surprise fun adventure. We spent that night with Demian's Paco and Juju. They live on a farm and we thought that was the fun surprise until next day we loaded back into the suburban and drove a couple more hours and found out the surprise was The Great Wolf Lodge! We got into our room early and went swimming after we met Wiley the wolf. There were so many fun slides and a wave pool too. We had a blast! That evening Violet the wolf delivered cookies and milk to our room, we felt so special. We played games in the lobby and went down for story time and met Oliver raccoon after dinner and cookies in our room. Our room had a special little cabin for the kids to sleep with bunk beds and our own tv. We took all of our own food, so we made oatmeal for breakfast and headed to the pool.
We had so much fun on the slides, pool and wave pool! We also colored, played games and did yoga in the lobby when we weren't in the pool area. After yoga on the last morning, we loaded up our stuff, packed our lunch into the car and headed for home! We had such a fun filled adventure, we didn't want it to end. We each got a character snuggly and a couple of books that we read at home to remind us of our trip. We were so excited to see daddy after his hunting trip and gave him lots of snuggles when we got home! He didn't get an elk this year but he had a fun time. He made us yummy steak tacos when we got home from our trip! We had a four day school week that week and then Jace had a big wrestling tournament that weekend.
