Dive into Summer!

Bella and I are taking swim lessons at a private pool this summer and still going to gymnastics and ninja kour. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we go to crossfit kids and are having a lot of fun there too. Bella and I built a fairy house in a stump at our house and the next morning there was fairy dust in there, so we knew a fairy came. We had our yearly checkup with Dr Marshak and everything was good. Bampa turned 75  and we decided to go to the Dalles to surprise him for his birthday. We had water fights in the yard with Grace and went out for dinner. There was a dart game there and my very first dart I threw dead center, bampa was impressed! Grace had a swim meet and we walked to the local pool to watch her swim. We stopped in Hood river on our way home and met miss Kate and Natalie at the park to play. We slept most of the way home, then went shopping in Roseburg and had dinner with papa and grandma before going home. We spent a couple of afternoons making more fairy furniture out of popsicle sticks. On Fridays, we ride bikes on the Greenway before going to story time at the library. I finally made it all the way across the ninja line and I was so happy! Bella and I went to papa and grandma's while daddy and mama went to the Garth Brooks concert, then we heard home early the next morning for church in the park.

Bella
I love the new pool miss Glenda is teaching me swim lessons at, and I also still love going to gymnastics. The first couple of classes of crossfit kids was overwhelming at game time, but I am really liking it now. I put a lot of my doll house furniture in the fairy house and after we found fairy dust in there we wrote a note trekking the fairies we wanted to know their names. They wrote them down and they were Crystal and Tiana. We were so excited that they were using our fairy house we made! At my checkup, Dr Marshak told me that I grew 2 inches since last year. We had a great time with bampa and lala while we were there. I get better at riding my bike every time we go. Whenever I get upset with mama I say to her in a stern voice "Mama Marie!".

S'more Birthday Fun for Bella's 5th Birthday!

June 1 was my last baseball game and also the kite and balloon festival. We went to workout, then home depot workshop and then the kite festival. At the festival, we went on the cow train, monster truck and a bounce house obstacle course. Our friends were there too, and miss Audra took Demian and I up in a hot air balloon ride. It was so much fun! Next we went and had a picnic lunch at the park before my baseball game. Bampa and lala came to watch and then we went out for burgers for Bella's birthday. It was a big day and we were wiped. Sunday was Bella's camping birthday party and I was still tired and a bit grumpy. I pouted in my room for a while, then played the fishing game and had lunch and cake. Our friend Kelsey from the gym moved in with us just before she had back surgery. It is fun having her at the house, she is helping me practice things so I can do a back flip. I reached my goal of 10 pull ups in a row too. Daddy and mama got the roof on the firewood storage structure and we have been at the creek exploring a lot. The last few days of school were fun, I went to the movies to see the new Aladdin, we had a field day outside and a beach themed day too. I am sad for school to be over, but excited for all the fun things we will do this summer! We started summer break off by going to Howard prairie lake with the paddle boards, kayaks and fishing poles for father's day. We stopped at Caldera's for burgers on the way home, it was a fun day!

I had a great time at the kite festival too. We made our own kites and even got our faces painted. I didn't want a princess, I wanted a dragon and I loved it! I was really excited to see bampa and lala, and we went fishing in the pond at the park after Jace's baseball game. I chose to eat at Climate City for my birthday dinner because I love their burgers:) My birthday party was Sunday at lunchtime. We had a hotdog roast, chili, Mac and cheese and watermelon. We made our own necklaces then went on a scavenger hunt with all my friends. After we had lunch, we played a fishing game in the creek and that was my favorite thing. I played for a long time even after everyone else was done. Mama made me a yummy smores cake and then we went zip lining and I opened my presents before everyone headed home. I got so many great gifts and I love them all! Bampa and lala had to leave on Monday and mama had to work. Daddy's friend Josh and his family came over for pizza one night and I liked playing with their girls. Mama, Kelsey and I went paddle boarding the day before Miss Kelsey had back surgery. The water was cold, but we had fun! Grandma came to spend the day with us while daddy and mama worked, then school was done. Mama got me all registered for school for the fall, I'm so excited. We had a great day with daddy for father's day a few days early because he had to work on Sunday. Then we had breakfast with papa and grandma on actual father's day after church.
