I Don't Know But I've Been Told, Jace Is Really 7 Years Old!

Jace
I had an awesome birthday! Mama made me a special breakfast before school, then I read the Wonkey Donkey book to my class and mama and Bella brought me In and Out burger for lunch. The entire lunch room sang happy birthday to me and I was a little embarrassed. Mrs Lomica gave me a Dr Seuss pen, a crazy hat and the class sang happy birthday too. After school mama took us to dairy queen for our free ice cream for the first day of spring. I was also student of the week, so I got to decorate a poster all about me and presented it to the class. My classmates all wrote in a book for me what they liked the most about me. Bella got me the magic trash can that I wanted. Bampa and Lala came the day after my birthday, we went out for dinner, jui jitsu practice and then to the bike shop to pick out a new bike helmet for my birthday. It was a surprise after I picked out a helmet they brought my brand new bike out with a bow on it. I was so excited and rode it around the parking lot. It has 6 gears and is red! My Army themed birthday party was the first day of spring break. Daddy and mama set up an obstacle course with tires, twine and stakes to Army crawl under and then a heavy backpack up to the top of the zip line then a fun ride down. We also had a tug of war, water grenade fight and a marshmallow gun battle. We ended the party with chili, hot dogs and mama's homemade Mac and cheese. She also made me an army tank birthday cake with army men candles. It was so awesome and I got lots of really cool birthday gifts too. I got an art kit, Nerf guns, a drone, lots of legos, clothes, a puzzle and some Nerf rocket launchers. Auntie Leanne and Grace stayed a couple of days and we went for a ride on the Greenway with my new bike and Bella's new bike that Grace grew out of. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful!

Hakuna Matata!

Jace
We went to Paisley's birthday party and I saw the Tocher's new magic garbage can. I wave my hand over it and the lid opens. That is when I decided that I wanted one of those for my birthday;) We had dress up week for Dr Seuss' birthday and I had green eggs and ham for breakfast at school. Papa and grandma came down and had lunch with me at school then papa helped daddy and mama on the roof over the pizza oven. Grandma took us to ninja kour and then papa had surgery the next morning. I still like to play cards any chance I get and I can even hold my cards with my toes. I have been reading towards my hundred books to get a new matchbox track toy too. We had a birthday party for Riley Jo from the gym at the wildlife safari. Our buddies were also invited, so we all rode in miss Audra's suburban. We met grandma there so we could drive through with her and have a picnic before the party started. We got to see a baby cheetah there, he was so cute! We also went in the African wind machine and it was so fun! The monkeys were full of it when we were there and one of them was sitting in the sun meditating. Mama came down with the flu later that week, but daddy and papa finished the roof on the pizza oven. We had a couple of nice sunny days that we played outside. Mama sill had a fever on Saturday, so daddy came home from work so she could go to the Dr. She slept all afternoon, so daddy took us biking on the Greenway. Mama and I had a fun game night while daddy and Bella went to the father/daughter dance that evening.

I had so much fun at Paisley's princess party. We had snacks, cake and played a lot. Papa and grandma came to watch me swim when they came down and then took me to gymnastics. We had so much fun at the wildlife safari. I got to pet a bunny rabbit and watch Riley Jo open her gifts. We also made some penny souvenirs while we were there! I have been a really big helper to mama lately, unloading the dishwasher, feeding the animals and cleaning my room. Swim is going really well too, I can swim across the pool on my tummy and my back now. I went to papa's Dr appointment with him and then went home with he and grandma to spend the night. He didn't cry at the doctors appointment, so we got ice cream as a special treat;) Mama brought me back home after work the next day. Daddy and I went out for burgers and fries at climate city before we went to the father/daughter dance. There was a guy there singing and playing the guitar. Daddy and I danced and got our picture taken at the ymca, but I got a scratch on my eye and was ready to leave the dance after about an hour. I loved the dress mama made for me, it twirled really well!
