So Much To Be Thankful For!

The week after Disney was exhausting. Two wrestling practices and my first wrestling tournament. That Thursday, was our 50th day of school, so we dressed up like the 50s. I wore my leather jacket and rolled my jeans. Papa and grandma came down for my wrestling meet, I weighed in on Friday night at 47 pounds. There were so many people at the tournament and it was crazy, but I was excited. I won my first match, but not sure how or why. I looked at papa after the ref raised my hand and said "what does that mean papa?". That's when he told me I won, then explained to me how to get points. The next match, I pinned the boy, but couldn't figure out why the match was so short:) I won the third match too, but got pinned in the next round in a few seconds. I need to learn some more moves, but I did get a metal for my first tournament, so I was very happy with that! After the tournament, we went straight to motion matrix for sensational Saturday. Demian met me there and we played and ate pizza while daddy and mama went to the movies. We had so much fun! I had the whole next week off of school for conferences and thanksgiving. I finished the blanket I made for Kenzi and we played lots of games. Demian came over to play one day and we set up all of the army men up in the playroom, then pretended that my shark blanket was eating us while watching a show. On thanksgiving, we went to the gym for a workout, then to the movies in Medford to watch the new Grinch in 3D and then home for pizza in our pizza oven! Mama got us new Grinch pajamas at the black Friday sale and papa came down to help work on the roof over the outdoor kitchen.

I helped daddy fill the wood box and went to workout with daddy and mama this week. I went to story time at the library and made a cute little turkey to decorate my room. I had fun watching Jace wrestle and went home with papa and grandma after it was over. I talked to them the entire way home so I didn't fall asleep. The next day, Kenzi, Shea, grandma and I all went to miss Linda's for lunch then mama met us to see the nutcracker. I loved watching the ballet and loved the music too. I twirled around and danced for daddy when we got home to show him what they did. I had fun playing with Aven and Rowan in the playroom with my barn and all of the animals. I wore my Grinch dress and purse to the new Grinch movie, and it is my new favorite movie. Mama got me Cindy Lou Who pajamas, but I wanted Grinch ones like Jace, so she returned them and I have worn my Grinch jammies every night:) We helped mama decorate the house for Christmas, we even put lights around our beds!

Let the Adventure Begin...... to The Happiest Place on Earth!

I am really missing daddy and he hasn't even been gone for a week! He text mama and said he shot a bull, so we are all very excited! On Thursday, mama came to school at 11:30 to pick me up for an "appointment". I was very upset with her because she didn't tell me before school about it and I was going to miss a science experiment. She explained that the appointment was for a fun adventure, in which I responded "what does that even mean?" When we got home we got the house all ready like we were leaving for a few days, so then I was really curious. I thought maybe we were going to see daddy and his bull, but instead Miss Audra pulled in the driveway and we loaded up for an awesome adventure! On the way out of the driveway, she showed us a special wrapped present that she was going to give to the best behaved kid and the one who didn't ask how long until we get there. We still had no idea where we were going, but we were so excited to be with our friends. We watched Aladdin and then played a fun car scavenger hunt, car bingo and every time we saw a police officer we had to say "police on the scene if you know what I mean!" (Which Aven said multiple times even if there wasn't a police:) we made it about 250 miles before stopping for dinner, potty, pajamas and gas. When I got out of the suburban I quoted Aladdin and said "10,000 years in a car can really put a crook in your neck!" We all feel asleep around 8 and the next thing we remember, we were going into a hotel to spend the night. Our room had a bunk bed that Demian and I slept in. The next morning we had to guess where we were and after mama put Minnie mouse ears on and lots of other guesses, I guessed we were at Disneyland! We were excited, but didn't even know what to expect. Demian and I got to open there special gift for best behaved in the car and it said we all earned a Disney ice cream. We all put matching outfits on that mama and miss Audra packed and went downstairs for Mickey mouse waffles and then to the park. Disneyland was amazing, we went on so many rides and saw Pluto, goofy and Donald duck all before lunch. We packed a lunch and had a picnic after riding splash mountain (which was my favorite ride of the day). We went back to the hotel for a nap and then back to the park for more fun after dark. We saw the first lighting of the Christmas tree and saw the castle all in lights. We went on a bunch more rides and back to the hotel for popcorn and watching the fireworks from the top of the hotel. The next day we went to California adventure and we had a great time there too. We hit cars land, grizzly river run, the swinging Ferris wheel and watched the Frozen show. After nap we hit the pool before heading back to the park. We went on a few more rides, got a light up balloon and made some penny souvenirs then back to the hotel roof for the fireworks with grapes and popcorn. The third day we went back to Disneyland and rode splash mountain again and space mountain, they were awesome! We went on so many fun rides and watched the parade. We went to the castle to see some princesses for the girls, but Demian and I got a couple autographs too😉.  We didn't go back for a nap because we all needed to get to bed early for our early start on the road home. We powered through until dinner time, but we got to experience our first churro before saying goodbye to Disneyland! We left the hotel at 4:30 in the morning, so we all napped from 10-12. We made it home in record time without a glitch. I was so excited to see daddy and his elk when we got home.

I'm missing daddy too, but we have been busy getting ready for something that I don't even understand. On Thursday, after workout, we went to miss Audra's so we could help her put some strollers on top of her car. Then we went and got Jace from school early, but I knew it was to do something with Audra. We had fun with our friends in the car, but I announced that I had a wedgie about 2 hours into the trip. Mama told me to try to pull it out, but the boys decided to name my wedgie, Reggie. So they started to tell at Reggie to get out of my bum and it was so funny, that I forgot all about how uncomfortable it was. Aven and I each asked once when we were going to be there, so we lost the gift. After spending 12 hours in the car with only one stop, we all thought it was the best day ever, because we were staying at a hotel with our friends. When they told us we were at Disneyland the next morning, we started jumping and screaming, but only because our brothers were. We didn't know how wonderful it was going to be until we got there. We rode the dumbo ride, the carousel, tea cups and boat ride all within the first couple hours. Then we hit toon town where we saw the characters and rode my favorite rollercoaster. I said "Holy Moly' while riding it, so I called it the holy moly rollercoaster. We saw tinkerbell and took pictures with her and rode lots more rides. I loved the pirates of the Caribbean boat ride so much and loved the Disney and Christmas music that played throughout the park. At California adventure, Aven and I liked the Ferris wheel, but the boys were scared. We went on a mermaid ride while the boys went on the water ride. We also went to a fun play park where we saw Chip and Dale, and they were so cute and silly. We played with them for a while until it was time to go to the Frozen show, which was SO good! We ate our lunch while standing in line to get in. We rode the trolley after nap and went on the Ferris wheel again after dark. We had a great time making the penny souvenir too. Miss Audra said that sometimes Mickey and Minnie come to the hotel at night and sign autograph books, so we left them out and they came into our room while we were sleeping and signed all of our books!!!! We were all so excited and then we didn't even have to wait 2 hours each to see then at the park. When we saw them that day, we yelled and thanked them for signing our books:) I decided to go on splash mountain on the last day, but it was a little scary. I loved the parade and got to see all of the characters and Santa too. We got to meet Ariel, snow white and Cinderella in the castle. It wad an amazing trip, but I fell asleep before it was over. Mama woke me up to try a churro and say goodbye to Disneyland! We were all troopers on the way home and only stopped once at in and out in Redding. We were home by 4, and daddy was home and made us a tasty dinner with his elk! We were so excited to see him and tell him all about our trip.
