Summer Lovin'

Jace
Mama worked on Friday and daddy went rafting with some friends, so we went camping with papa and grandma and their friends. Mama joined us after work, and we slept in a tent. We had lots of fun building forts and climbing trees, but it rained the next morning and got all of our stuff wet. We went for a drive and saw lots of elk, then headed home after nap. We stopped in Roseburg at a cherry farm to pick some yummy cherries before heading home! We have been playing on the back patio with Bella's new scooters and we even helped unload all of the brick we bought to cover the pizza oven. We went swimming in the Tocher's pool already, and even went to the Applegate river to try out my new kayak I got for Christmas. During dinner one night, daddy spotted a turtle in the driveway, we pet it and took it to a pond behind the house. I got to go to ninja camp at Higs again, and it was so much fun! Daddy and mama finished the patio cooler project and we are loving our first month of summer so far.

Bella
I had a lot of fun camping and playing in the woods with papa and grandma. I was also a big helper picking cherries.....and eating them! I helped unload brick until I smashed my finger, but have been playing and having a lot of fun. We went rafting with Mrs Anderson and Cooper and Cannon and we all had a great time. I had so much fun paddle boarding with my friends at the river and even tried out Jace's kayak a couple of times. I had fun watching Jace at ninja camp, and I can't wait until I get to go next year. We went to the Rooster Crow Parade in Rogue River and had a great time too.

School Is Out For Summer!

On memorial day, we went to workout so daddy and mama could do the Murphy workout, then we had a hotdog roast by the creek for Bella's actual birthday. School is almost out and we have been having a lot of fun there. Because I raised a lot of money for the jog a thon, I got to have doughnuts with the principal and have a limo ride to McDonalds for lunch. The last Friday of school, we had an assembly and I was awarded a chrome book for raising the most money in the school. Daddy and mama knew already, but I didn't! They were there and so was grandma, then she took Bella while my parents stayed for our outside camping day at school. Grandma and Bella picked me up from school and we went home with her so daddy and mama could have some time together without us. We had fun at grandma and papa's and they had fun mt biking and doing projects together. When mama came to get us, we all went to the strawberry farm and picked 30 pounds of strawberries for our freezer! The last three days of school were fun, and on the last day we had a kindergarten graduation. I said I wanted to be a firefighter when I grow up and then I got a certificate. I sure am sad that Mrs Anderson isn't going to be my teacher anymore, she is the best!!!

Bella
We had a yummy hot dog roast and played at the creek for my birthday dinner, and we even had yummy smores for dessert! Bampa and Lala got me gymnastics classes for my birthday, so I got to try it out and had so much fun! Brian and Cindy came for pizza dinner and I even got Cindy to go down the zip line with me. Jace was really excited about all of his prizes for the jog a thon, so one day on the way to school I said "mama when do I get to have peanuts with the Prince?" Mama was very confused and wondered if I was talking about a book or movie. Then Jace started to giggle and explained that I meant doughnuts with the principal. I don't know what doughnuts are or a principal, so that is what I thought Jace got to do:) grandma took me to get a pedicure while daddy and mama volunteered at Jace's school, it was special and fun. Then we played and had a fun weekend at her house, I even picked a lot of strawberries when mama came to get us. Strawberries are my favorite! I was very proud of Jace and gave him big hugs at his graduation.
