Lots of fun with lots of friends!

We have been busy canning peaches, jam and even pickles from all of the cucumbers we got from the garden. We made lots of garden spaghetti sauce for the freezer too. We went to a birthday party with a bounce house and water slide one weekend, then to Maren's birthday party the next. She had a Hawaiian birthday with a big water slide like last year! It was lots of fun. We sat in the hot pool to warm up when we were done. We watched the solar eclipse at the river with our friends after workout. We had to wear special glasses, it was silly. Then we headed to the Dalles to see bampa, lala and cousin Grace and auntie Leanne. We went to the local fair while we were there and rode some rides, then went to Grace's house for dinner. When we got home, we picked some apples to make applesauce and Apple pie filling. We also went to Saturday market to get some pears to can for Bella. Our friends shared some berries with us and then we all got fruit popsicles before we left the market. We ordered my backpack for school and I am getting very excited for school to start.

Bella
I love picking vegetables from the garden and helping mama with canning and freezing. I had fun at Emma's birthday party, but my favorite part was playing with Maddox and eating cheetos for the first time. I had lots of fun playing in the water and sand at Maren's party. I went down the slide a few times too. I mostly stayed in the hot pool after that. I had fun playing at the river with my friends, but didn't really look at the solar eclipse, whatever that is. I did love the rollercoaster at the fair. I liked seeing all of the animals there and we rode on a fire truck ride and bonked our heads. It was so fun. I jumped on Grace's trampoline and played with her babies in her room. We helped pick up apples from the ground after miss Tami and mama shook the trees. We got a different car and sold daddy's old one. We had to go to the DMV to take care of some paper work, and Jace let me lay on his lap when I got bored.

Camping and Fishing and Loving Everyday!

We went on a 4 day family camping trip to the lake in the woods. We slept in a tent, but everyone else had trailers so we didn't all camp right next to each other, but we had a great time. We went paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and played lots of games with our cousins. One night, daddy and I walked to the resort to watch 10,000 leagues under the sea outside with popcorn. We couldn't stay awake for the whole movie though. I caught a few fish out in uncle's boat and Wyatt and I thought maybe we would be able to see under water better if we ate the fish eyeballs. We each ate one and then the fish. The eye tasted like a fried egg, not bad. Later that week, mama and miss Audra took all 5 of us kiddos to the water park in Redding. We all loaded into her suburban and we watched a movie on the way there. We made it without any stops, and got there just before the park opened. We had a great fun-filled day. We even went on the big slide from the top on the tube. We had a picnic lunch before heading home. Everyone sacked out for the drive home, but I watched a movie and didn't go to sleep. I did close my eyes for a picture though. We went to peach palooza to get lots of peaches so mama can can them for me. I'm so excited to have more canned peaches with honey:)

Bella
I had so much fun camping this year. I followed Wyatt everywhere and he gave me rides on his kayak. My favorite part was sleeping in the tent while looking up at the stars. One morning, daddy and uncle Josh got up super early in the morning to go hike Mt Mcloughlin. When he got back, we had lunch and I wanted to snuggle him and take my nap. It was the best! I can't wait to go camping again. I had so much at the water park too, I even went on the big tube water slide this time:) we went in the lazy river and played on the kiddy slide and pool. I slept the entire way home! I don't care for the canned peaches as much as Jace, but I do love fresh peaches.
