You are my Sunshine!

Jace
Papa came down to play and have a hot dog roast with us since grandma went to PA to take care of Grammy. Daddy and mama covered the wood box on the porch so we could use it for Bella's birthday party. We had a small but fun birthday party. It was sunny and we had a big water balloon fight, played games, drank lemonade and ate hamburgers. Then we had cake, cookies and homemade ice cream:)

Bella
We had some fun days at the creek playing and had fun with papa when he came to visit. Bampa, lala and Grace came down for my birthday party. I had a sunshine birthday and daddy and mama even built me a lemonade stand. My friends and I drank yummy lemonade and had an awesome party. I got lots of presents, puzzles, books, butterfly wings and tutu, a castle and etch a sketch, a huge swing and my own tablet to play educational games on. And Jace got me a silly toot toot game:) Jace likes to play with me at home, but when he asks, I sometimes reply "not today Jace, maybe tomorrow" or "my hands are busy". This usually upsets him, which is my goal:)

For mother's day, daddy took us shopping for mama and we got her a picture frame, a tin for her flowers and a Venus fly trap. We also colored her a picture. Daddy had to work, so I brought mama coffee in bed and Bella brought her breakfast (a protein bar). We went to church, then grandma met us and we went for a hike on cathedral hills. It was a fun day! That week we got plants for the garden, daddy shot a turkey behind the house and we played in the sprinklers when it was warm. We even went to miss Tami's for a hot dog roast and we baked a cake in the fire inside an orange peel. They were yummy! Mama and I went to the super hero dance again and we went out to dinner for a burger and fries first. We danced and played and had a great night!

Bella
I woke up on mother's day and snuck quietly into mama's room and yelled Happy Mother's Day! We had a great hike with mama and grandma. We had some play dates with our friends, and I got to hold baby Rowan at the park. I would rather snuggle him than play:) I had fun playing in the creek with Maddox and while Jace and mama went to the super hero dance, daddy and I made a fort and watched a movie! I earned 10 straws and my reward was a $5 toy and I chose a huge orange ball. We had lots of fun with sidewalk chalk one day and miss Audra took some pictures of me before my sunshine birthday.
