Oo-De-Lally Golly What A Day!

On my actual birthday, we went to mama's workout then to kinder gym, then home for nap. I opened presents from daddy, mama and Bella too! Bella got me a toy bow and I got a new big boy bike. It is a little tall but I learned to curb start it very quickly, mama made me a Robin Hood sweatshirt and daddy got me rockets to build and launch. We had my favorite dinner, fish tacos, then ice cream for dessert. It rained quite a bit that week and there were tons of worms in the driveway, so we picked up a bunch and fed them to the chickens. They loved them! I had a Robin Hood themed birthday party this year, and it was awesome! Daddy made bow and arrows for everyone out of pvc pipe and wooden dowels, mama painted a wood target and Allan came to help set up an obstacle course for us all to go through. We started the party with a scavenger hunt and ended it with a hot dog roast, chili, Mac n cheese and cake of course! It were lots of friends and family there and I had a blast!

I didn't really like that Jace was getting so much attention on his birthday, so I stole his sweatshirt in the car to use as a pillow, then when he asked for it back, I blew my nose on it before throwing it at him! Mama said I needed to be kind. I did pick out a really cool bow and arrow for him to play with in the house, he loved it. I wasn't so sure about picking up the worms for the chickens, but I spotted them for daddy and he picked them up. I had fun with all of our friends at the birthday party, I even did the obstacle course. My favorite part was the cake though;)

I started the month off with earning my 10th straw and my surprise was picking out any box of cereal I wanted at the store. We spent 20 minutes in the aisle before deciding on captain crunch with berries. Mama said she didn't like that kind but daddy said he loved that cereal, so I waited until he got home the next day to have my first bowl of deliciousness! I shared with Bella too. We both are in swim again and doing well. We went up to Kenzi's birthday party and had lots of fun playing in the basement after cake and homemade ice cream. She got a really cool kayak for her birthday. We made a few St Patrick's day crafts at home and at the library. We spent a couple of days with papa and grandma while daddy worked and mama and miss Tami went to a concert up in Portland. Uncle took us to breakfast one morning and then to the wildlife safari. When we got home, daddy and Bella went to the father daughter dance and mama and I stayed home and had fish tacos and played games and read lots of books! I have been super helpful around the house and earning lots of straws. I earned a breakfast of my choice and I chose waffles with strawberries and whipped cream!

The straw incentive isn't working quite as well for me except that Jace does a lot of chores for me so he can get straws. He did share his captain crunch cereal with me and it was yummy. Swimming is going really well. One day I was floating on my back with my head on mama's shoulder and she was singing the abc's. I started screaming nooooo, really loud in mama's ear and she wondered what was going on, so I said "please stop singing, your breath is really stinky". I had fun at grandma and papa's and with uncle. As soon as we got home, mama got me all ready for the father daughter dance. She made me a dress, bought me new shoes, painted my fingernails and toenails and even curled my hair. I felt like a princess! Daddy took me out to dinner at Tap Rock and then we went to the dance. I enjoyed eating fruit and other snacks and playing with the balloons at the dance. Daddy and I also danced a bunch too. I started to get cranky and sleepy, so we went home for bedtime.
