Lots of birthdays, lots of fun!

We celebrated mama's birthday by doing a workout, going on a hike and daddy cooking dinner. Papa and grandma came for dinner and the next morning we went to their campsite for brunch. That evening, we went to shojis for dinner with my friends to celebrate everyone's birthdays. Aunt Lori's is after mamas, then Wyatt and uncle nick, then uncle Josh. They cooked our dinner in front of us and made a lot of fire, it was great! Shea came home with us and spent the night. She slept in my hammock and played with us in the playroom. She came to my bible school class with me and helped mama clean and organize while we napped. It was fun having her there, but she went home with papa and grandma on Sunday afternoon. We headed to the Rogers house for Allan's birthday dinner and I had fun playing with Maren. We met them at a new park and played there and had a picnic the next day. On Tuesday we met my friend Enzo at the bmx track and I rode my big boy bike!  I made it up all of the hills, but mama says I need to go a few more times to go on the big hills with the big kids.

I fell asleep in the pack on daddy's back for our hike. I had a great time at dinner with everyone, and I loved the food!  Shea shared her chicken with me and after I ate it all, I said "more bwak bwak please". That is what I call our pet chickens at home:) I had lots of fun playing baby with Shea when she came over. I had fun in the swing at the Rogers house, and loved the playground at the park. I went up the ladders and down the slides all by myself!

Fun times with friends!

We have had so much fun with our friends the last couple of weeks. We had dinner with the Hammer's, Maren had a sleep over at our house, and I made a new friend across the creek named Ryan. Our baby chicks are getting big and our friends came over to play with them. One Sunday we had a fun filled day of church, then visiting Demian and playing by his pond. After nap that same day, we went to the Rogers house for a hot dog roast with lots of kids. There was a zip line, we swam in their creek and went for a hay ride behind the tractor. We made yummy s'mores in ice cream cones and they were delicious! One day at swim, Demian and I used his mom's phone to take a bunch of selfies while our moms were in the pool with our sisters:)

I loved the Hammer's coy pond, the fish nibbled on my toes and it tickled and made me laugh. Our new neighbors across the creek have a tiny baby named Paisley and I liked talking to her when they came over. When we visited Aven's house, I pet her miniature horses and played in their outdoor playhouse. I had so much fun at the hot dog roast. I played in the sand box, went for wagon rides, played in Maddox water table with him, and even tried out the zip line for a short ways. The hay ride was my favorite though, I didn't want to get out!

SPRING IS HERE!

We continued in swim lessons in April and my friends Maren and Demian are both in my class and it is lots of fun. The home Depot craft was a butterfly house this month and mama was on call, so she and papa took me to build one. It was perfect because my caterpillars are getting big and now we can have a house for them when they turn into butterflies! Daddy and mama decided to have a work day at uncle nick and aunt Lori's house to split and stack firewood. While papa, daddy and mama worked, we went with grandma and uncle nick to his physical therapy. We ran through lots of puddles and she took us to feed the ducks but we ate most of the bread instead:) We had dinner at uncle nick and aunt Lori's house after my friends got home from school. Daddy stopped for ice cream for a surprise on the way home and I had my own cone. It was the yummiest ice cream I never had. I have been making up my own words lately that mama says are not real words, but it makes sense to me. My favorite is amn't, which is am not shortened. "I amn't hungry right now."
My mama and her friends Terri and Audra had a great plan to go on the Greenway for a picnic with all 6 kids and Audra's new puppy. Us boys all rode our bikes and the girls rode in strollers that the mamas pushed. We had a great time and a delicious picnic lunch! We have been working in the garden helping mama pull weeds and getting it ready for planting soon. Daddy has been making slash piles and cutting firewood, so we roasted marshmallows for dessert one night.  We picked up 6 baby chicks that we ordered, and they are so little, soft and cute! They are in the garage in their chicken box for now.

Bella
I started swim lessons again, and still loving the water. I'm talking more every day,and I am very animated too. I take off my shoes and take out my ponytails every time we get in the car, which drives daddy and mama crazy.  I built a butterfly house too and painted it a mixture of colors! I had fun getting soaked in the puddles and wanted to eat all of mama's ice cream cone on the way home, but I only ate a few bites;) I had a lot of fun on the Greenway, but my favorite part was the picnic. I fought my friend Aven for her food but we both had plenty to eat. I was a big helper pulling weeds in the garden. I love the baby "bock bocks" we got, they are so cute. I like to get real close to their faces and say hi. Mama took us on a bike ride on her cruiser bike one day and we stopped for a snack and a little workout, then rode back, I loved the ride!
