Happy Easter!

Easter was the week after my birthday. We went to an Easter egg hunt put on by our church on Saturday. Then on Sunday morning we woke up and looked everywhere for our easter baskets. The silly easter bunny hid them in the laundry room.  I got play dough, a bubble gun, spiderman sunglasses, new swim shorts and some new pants. We also had lots of eggs filled with goodies like fish crackers and teddy grahams. Mama made us bunny pancakes for breakfast, then we headed to roseburg to go to papa and grandma's church. My cousins also go there and I went into Wyatt's class with him. We had a yummy brunch at papa and grandma's, then took a nap there. After nap, I flew my kite that pappy and Grammy sent me and then we went to uncle nick and aunt Lori's house for an Easter egg hunt and tacos for dinner. We had a great time!

I had fun at the egg hunt at the park, but the eggs weren't hard to find;) On Easter morning, Jace kept looking for our Easter baskets and wanted my help. Mama made me a really pretty basket and I immediately started pulling my stuff out.  I got Nemo sunglasses, a new sunshine outfit, markers, a coloring book and some bubbles. I loved the teddy grahams and pretzels I got in my eggs the best though! I wore a pretty tulip dress to church and the easter egg hunt at Uncle's house. I found lots of eggs and then we emptied them all into a bag in the house. We all had big bags of candy, I got to eat one after dinner:) I love easter!

A couple of days before my birthday party Allan and my daddy put up the elk tent and Maren and Maddox came to play with us! We had a fun day and mama made us all fish tacos for a picnic outside. That night I was playing with Bella while mama was cooking dinner, and I fell and hit my head on the coffe table:( I had a popcicle which made everything better!  Bampa and lala came to help with the party too. Daddy got sick,  so we played outside with bampa and lala a lot. They moved my mattress into Bella's room the night before my party so they could put my new surprise bed in my room.  I really wanted to see it, but they kept it a surprise until after my party.  My friends all came right after nap,  and it turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day.  First we went on a scavenger hunt and then we all got our own sling shots.  Mama told us the rules,  but Allan decided to break the rules and have us all shoot our foam balls at him:) Next we had boat races down the creek,  and got hatchet glow Sticks that were super cool!  We all ate chili, hotdogs and mac n cheese down by the creek. Mama even made me a campfire cake that was really yummy. I opened my gifts in the tent and then went to my room for my surprise from daddy and mama. They made me a tree house bed that has a hammock underneath of it. It is so awesome!  I have new pictures on my wall to match too. Grace spent the night with me in my new bed,  but we didn't sleep much at all because we were so excited:) I had so much fun at my party and got a lot of really cool gifts too. Walkie talkies, a hunting pack, a knight costume, a soccer ball, a toy backhoe, target games, books and even real caterpillars in a cup that I get to watch tien into butterflies! I am a very lucky boy:)

Bella
I had a great time playing with Maren, Maddox and Jace when they came over. I also had a great day with bampa and lala the day before Jace's party. We went on walks and adventures behind the house. I had the best time at the party!  I helped Shea mark off her scavenger hunt list and threw my own boat in the creek for the race. Dinner was delicious and I spent most of my time with grandma and lala. I loved Jace's new bed almost as much as him!  The windows that open are my favorite part:) Lala gave us a bath after everyone else went home,  and Grace stayed the night too.
