Another Fun Weekend in the Snow!

We headed up to Hyatt lake right at nap time and Bella and I slept on the way there. The Rogers family met us there, and we went hiking and sledding in the snow before checking into the cabin. Maren and I picked which beds we were going to sleep in in the loft.  We watched part of a movie and then went to bed. The next morning we hit the sledding hill pretty early. We had so much fun sledding and racing. Then we had snacks by the fire that daddy and Allan built. One of my trips down the hill,  I stayed on top of the powder and went off track. I hit a limb when I was going very fast,  and it cut my chin and it made me bite my tongue too:( some hot cocoa made it all better! After nap,  Allan dug a snow cave for us behind the cabin. We had nacho movie night and I really enjoyed it.  When Maren and I woke up the next morning,  we talked all about sitting in the back seat of the truck without seat belts on the way home from sledding hill. That was so fun and crazy. We went to the sledding hill after breakfast for a short time then we had to pack up and head home. It was a super fun weekend and we didn't want to leave.  We spent some time down by the creek getting it ready for my camping birthday party, and I was a big help.  The day we spent at grandma's, we did some building with wood and nails. We were having fun playing when uncle nick got hurt at work and we had to go to uncle Josh and auntie Michelle's house so papa and uncle Josh could go help save him. Mama left work and met us there. We played at their house until daddy left work and then he took us home so mama could go see uncle nick at the hospital.

Bella
I wasn't too excited to get in my snow suit, but had fun in the sled and on the swing at the playground. I really liked the stairs the most at the cabin. I went up and down as much as possible:) I had a great time on the sledding hill and enjoyed splashing and having bath time with Maddox.  The cabin had a cool swing made out of a chair lift and I had fun swinging with the big kids.
I am still really enjoying swim, and kick really hard to splash mama.  I had fun at papa and grandma's building and using a hammer. I had fun riding Hayes' car at his house too. We spent s few days at home with daddy while mama was with uncle nick at the hospital and we played and read lots of books.

My buddy Demian came over one evening while his parents went out and we watched Robin Hood and had popcorn.  Our friend Maddox turned one and we went to his monster birthday party.  I had a great time playing with Maren, I even dressed up as spider man while I was there and pretended to saved her:) The weather was nice for almost a week and we had picnics down by the creek every day. We had a blast throwing rocks in the water,  casting my fishing pole (I'm getting pretty good), and floating my boat from upstream down to daddy. I'm so glad daddy and mama built steps down there because I love it by the creek! Daddy and mama went on a date to a concert and Bella and I stayed at papa and grandma's over night,  we had lots of fun and they did too. I made a few valentine's and picked specific bugs out for each person. We got a few valentines in the mail too!  We went to a going away party for the Dunkin family and I was sad to say goodbye to miss Corrie,  Chris and especially Amelia. On valentine's day, mama made us heart shaped waffles with strawberries and whip cream. We also got some new clothes that I love!  We made heart shaped pizzas and brownies and took them to the fire station to daddy and his friends.  We ate there and had a fun time!

I had fun at the birthday party for Maddox, but I got really sleepy before it was over and we had to head home for a nap.  I love playing by the creek and just being outside. Every time mama mentions going outside,  I run to the garage door,  open it and start putting on my boots. I like to throw rocks and make a big splash in the creek. I also like watching Jace cast his fishing pole, but love the eating part the best.  One morning when mama came to get me out of the crib,  the first thing I said was "eat please", then I headed straight for the pantry to get the oatmeal out for her.  I was super silly and social at the going away party,  and had fun building a pretend campfire with the boys at papa and grandma's. I was excited to eat my yummy breakfast on valentine's day and loved my new clothes.  I gave daddy all of my snuggles at the fire station, and he even gave me a bite of his brownie!

Puddle jumpers!

Bella and I have been doing a lot of puddle jumping lately. We ride our dune racer out to the big puddles and run and jump in them. We even played in the puddles at papa and grandma's house when we went there. One weekend, daddy took Bella and I to visit bampa, lala and my cousin Grace. Grace and I fed off of each others energy and were a bit crazy. I spent the night with her one night and after auntie Leanne went to bed, we got up and played with Grace's toys;) We had a great time, but it was a short trip. Mama decorated our playroom while we were gone, and we love it! She moved most of our toys up there, so the living room looks much nicer. Our friends Demian and Aven got some miniature horses and we went to see them and fed them carrots. Miss Audra picked catails for us and we used them as swords. On the way home from swim one day, I told mama "I love you so much, can I marry you someday?" She said she was already married to my daddy, so I guess I will have to find someone else. We had another great weekend in the snow at Hyatt lake with a bunch of friends from the gym. I stayed on the sledding hill the entire time and played with my friend Amelia. We stayed in a cabin there and went sledding the next day too, we had a blast!

My favorite thing to do is jump in the mud puddles and even sit in them now and then:) swim is going great, but potty training has not been that great lately. I had a great time at bampa and lala's house. I had lots of snuggle time with lala and she read me books. Grace and my brother were a bit too crazy for me, but we all walked to the library anyways. I was not afraid of the miniature horses and walked right up and fed them some carrots and said hi. I loved their goats even more, and talked to them too. Our sledding weekend was so much fun, and every time we got to the bottom of the hill on the sled, I said "again"! I get so excited when I know we are going to go play in our new playroom, I do the happy dance! One day after workout, Jace was crying in the car because he hurt himself and after a while I looked up at him, held my hand up and said "Stop, please, stop!". Mama thought it was funny, but Jace did not;)
