Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a big turkey dinner on Monday at papa and grandma's after mama got off of work. We all went around the table and said what we were thankful for,  I said daddy, mama and Bella.  We spent the night there and decorated gingerbread houses the next morning. Mine turned out so cool!  We went to Costco and headed home at naptime. We played with daddy when we got home. Mama cut my hair the next night and I checked out her work in the mirror, I approved.  We went back up to Roseburg to uncle Nick and aunt Lori's for thanksgiving day. I had fun playing with all my friends and their toys. Wyatt and I went outside and played ball with uncle Nick and jumped on the trampoline.  We went home before it got dark because it was supposed to get super cold again. We went to Joann's for a fabric sale on black Friday with mama then went to workout.  We went to home depot with my friends Aven and Demian to build a school bank then went to the park to play. It was about 24 degrees so we wore our snow suits. We slid down the frozen leaves on plastic trays that mama brought home from work. We had a great time. We headed home for lunch and took daddy some lunch since he and the neighbor were working on fixing the bridge.

Bella
I didn't eat much of the turkey dinner at grandma and papa's,  but enjoyed being entertained by all of my cousins and brother.  I helped mama a little on the gingerbread house but mostly just wanted the snacks to eat. I still really enjoy snuggling with daddy and bringing him books to read to me. I had so much fun playing at uncle Nick and aunt Lori's house on Thursday. I played with castles,  dress shoes and a metal lunch box most of the time. Shea and McKenna played baby with me for a bit too. I kept packing the lunch box, getting my boots and telling everyone bye bye.  I colored with crayons at home depot while Jace built a bank and then had a blast at the park. I slipped on the ice once and fell but I just brushed it off and kept going.  I slid down the leaves a few times, but mostly enjoyed chasing the wild geese around the field.

Bella's rough week!

Bampa and lala came to visit on Sunday, and they took us out to dinner. I was very excited to see them,  so it was hard to sit in my seat the whole time. Bella had surgery early Monday morning and bampa and I stayed home and played. I woke him up early and told him the batteries were dead in my clock and that is why it didn't turn green:) Then we had breakfast together and had a bunch of sword fights. Lala, mama and Bella got home and then we all went to my swim class. I was excited to show bampa and lala how I could swim. After nap we went for a walk with Lala and then she gave us rides on her back. Daddy came home from work Tuesday morning and had breakfast with us, then bampa and lala had to head home.  We painted pumpkins for thanksgiving and I helped mama make some pumpkin muffins for our friends.  We delivered them after swim on Wednesday and we stayed and played at their house for a while.  My buddy Demian has lot of costumes, so I dressed up as a knight and he was a crocodile.  We went to grandma's while mama worked and aunt Linda came home with them from Pennsylvania.  We had a fun day and aunt Linda came home with us that night. She watched us while daddy and mama worked on Friday. We played go fish,  I showed her how fast I could run and I watched some shows on mama's Kindle.  Daddy started a big fire behind the house and mama went up to help haul brush to the fire. We went up after nap and hung out by the fire with aunt Linda. I helped mama with some of the limbs and sticks. I took my chainsaw in case I needed to help daddy too.  We had a great day and Sunday was fun too. Daddy burned the big pile out by the bridge that day and worked out there all day long. We rode the four wheelers out to see him. Part of the bridge started eroding and falling into the creek, now daddy has lots of work ahead of him to fix it! We all got up early on Monday morning to head back to grandma's house. I asked how much longer until we get there and mama said 25 minutes. I asked if that was a a long time and she said no, so I said "maybe for these two kids it's a long time!"

Bella
I was very excited to see bampa and lala and wanted to sit on lala's lap until we had dinner. Daddy and mama woke me up real early the next morning and wouldn't give me anything to eat or drink. We drove to the surgery center and it was super cold,  24°! I didn't like all of the strange people and especially didn't like the nurse to touch me with her stethoscope.  Our friend Megan is an anesthesiologist, and she ordered versed on her drive in. As soon as I started feeling that, I was silly and happy. Everything was funny and I thought it was silly when Megan carried me back to the OR. I held the mask on my face and smiled at the surgeon before going to sleep. I didn't have to have any tubes or lines and I woke up happy as a clam. Daddy and mama were in the recovery room and we went to the waiting room to see lala and headed for breakfast. Daddy went to work after breakfast and we went home to get bampa and Jace and went to swim class. I was excited to see papa and grandma when we went there on Thursday. It took me a bit to warm up to aunt Linda but I snuggled her before the day was over. She watched us the next morning and spent the weekend with us.  While mama was cooking, Jace and I ran into the pantry and closed the door. Mama told us to get out,  but I climbed up her step ladder and fell off before she came to get us out. I hit my other eye on the bottom shelf and it was pretty bloody. Mama used another steri-strip and I looked pretty rough. I had lots of fun sitting by the fire with aunt Linda while daddy and mama burned brush!

I remembered my new verse at church and got a prize and we learned a new song that I loved called the Lord's Army. Then after nap,  we went over to the Rogers house for dinner. Maren and  I played well together and ate all of our dinner so we could have apple crisp and ice cream:) Monday we went to workout and swim,  and I was the only one at swim lessons so I got to swim the entire time.  We played outside after nap.  We stayed home on Tuesday morning and played,  took an early nap and met our friends at the park for a picnic and lots of fun. Demian and I had so much fun on the bulldozer toy they had there and also went really high on the swings. When our sisters wanted a turn on the swings, we doubled up since there were leg holes on both sides.  Daddy took us to workout and swim on Wednesday while mama worked.  We were heading outside to rode my bike when she got home from work. I can ride my bike down the really step hill now.  I also helped mama pull all of the plants out of the garden and then she raked a pile of leaves for me to jump in. We had another fun day with daddy on Thursday and Friday while mama worked. We worked out and went to story time. One day we even went grocery shopping so we could make mama a yummy dinner when she got home. Daddy had to go back to work on Saturday and mama got the stomach bug so I helped around the house because she didn't feel good. We watched the movie Cars and we read a lot of books. Bella made big messes, but I helped her pick them up before nap. I did my school work on mama's Kindle when I woke up.

Bella
I had fun playing at church and loved playing with all of Maren's toys at the Rogers house. She has a shopping cart and a baby stroller that I pushed all over their house. I also played with necklaces with Maddox! I loved the soup and bread miss Tami made so I cleaned my bowl. She gave me applesauce with whipped cream and a graham cracker for dessert. It was delicious and I felt super special. I played ball at workout and hit it with a wooden paddle they had there. I also gave miss Corrie lots of snuggles.  I almost fell asleep at swim but waited until the drive home. I just took off and explored after our picnic at the park. I went down slides and climbed on the play structures. They had a bouncy boat and swings too! I am still quite the daddy's girl,  and wouldn't even give mama snuggles when she got home from work. I did fall asleep for him at swim on Wednesday. I stayed in the house while Jace and mama worked in the garden and played in the leaves. But Friday,  while Jace was riding his bike down the hill, I played in the pile of leaves. I had toys all over the living room on Saturday while mama was sick. I helped Jace pick them up, but got a couple of time outs for throwing toys and fits:(

Happy Halloween!

We had a photographer come over on Friday morning to take some fall family photos. I was very cooperative but Bella was a bit cranky. We took some by the creek and I helped by making Bella laugh. Mama finished our costumes during nap, then when I woke up mama and I got dressed up as ninja turtles and met miss Tami and Maren at the fall festival they had at church. We were one of the first ones there, so we didn't have to wait in line to ride the pony or go in the bounce house. We had lots of fun, and then went inside to dance to a band that was playing. We played a bean bag toss game then went out for Mexican food for dinner. Maren and I were super silly at dinner, but we did eat or dinners eventually. We all got dressed up as ninja turtles and went to uncle Nick's house for their annual Halloween party. We played lots of fun games there and there were lots of friends there to play with. My favorite game was trying to get a marshmallow that was hanging from a string with no hands. My opponent was Hayes and we both got our marshmallows. I had lots of sword fights and was a bit crazy there. We put our pjs on before heading home, but stayed awake all the way home. We went to church on Sunday and I remembered my memory verse and got another prize. I also got a new one to learn this month. We went to the video store and rented a couple of movies that I have been wanting to see, and after nap mama made popcorn and we all watched 101 Dalmatians. Mama worked Monday and Tuesday and daddy took us to workout, the park and baby story time so we could get new library books.We had lots of fun with daddy and met mama for lunch one of the days. On Wednesday we all went to Medford for Bella's preop appointment with her Dr. After that, we went to mucho gusto and got my favorite burrito. On Thursday we went to the dentist and I was a big boy and sat I the big chair all by myself without any tears. I got a bouncy ball for being a good boy. After we left the dentist, we went to aunt Lori and uncle Nick's house to play and help out because auntie Lori's mama is very sick. Mama made tacos for dinner then we drove home. Friday we went to workout and then did chores at home before papa and grandma came. We played and made dinner while daddy and mama went on one last hunt behind the house. They didn't have any luck though. The next morning, we took papa and grandma to the airport. There was a pile of snow that fell off of someone's car in front of the airport and we had a snowball fight:) we said goodbye, then went to home depot to build a fighter jet.

Bella
I ate a big breakfast before pictures on Friday, but I was still hungry and a bit tired so I didn't smile much. I stayed home with daddy on Friday evening because we both had the sniffles and needed the rest. I did go to the Halloween party at uncle Nick's and I loved my costume, especially my tutu. I played most of the games, but loved hitting the pinata the best. I almost hit some other people with the bat because I was so proud of myself that I spun around smiling. I used my foam weapon to play with the other kids while they were sword fighting. I was a good girl at church and kept wanting to put on my tutu from my costume when I got home. I didn't watch much of the movie, but I sure enjoyed the popcorn! I had a little separation anxiety at workout and called for daddy a lot while he was working out. I had lots of fun playing and getting wet at the park. On Tuesday, daddy took me to babies and wobblers at the library and we sang lots of songs and had a good time. When we went to the Dr on Wednesday, I didn't cry this time, but daddy was there to sit next to me while mama asked questions and sign papers. I had lots of fun playing with Shea and Kenzi's babies at uncle Nick's house. I ate a big dinner and slept on the way home. I got a few time outs for screaming and for throwing toys,  but I was excited to see papa and grandma when they got here. We played ring around the Rosie and I thought it was super silly. I stayed home with daddy and took a nap while mama and Jace took them to the airport.
