A Fun Weekend Adventure!

Bella and I played with daddy while mama packed and put everything into the jeep for our weekend adventure.  We were going to the enchanted forest and then to a hotel with Grace and auntie Leanne. Grace and I ran in a kids firefighter race too.  Bella and I napped for a while on the drive up and ate peanut butter and honey when we got hungry.  We met our friends Audra, Demian and Aven. We went down the shoe slide a bunch and were on the ferris wheel when auntie Leanne and Grace got there. The rides were really fun then we walked back to the entrance and said goodbye to Audra,  Demian and Aven.  Next Grace, mama and I went on the big roller coaster. It was so fun and we giggled the entire way. We even went again with auntie Leanne before we left and headed to our hotel. We checked in, unloaded our stuff and went for dinner. I had a hamburger and fries that I ordered all by myself. We went back to the hotel and swam in the pool until bedtime. Auntie Leanne and Grace brought me a new book and we read that before bed. It took us a while to settle down and go to sleep.  We had a big race the next morning after eating a big breakfast. We drove to the park for the race and I wore firefighter turnouts so a lot of people took my picture. Grace and I ran the entire 1k without stopping,  I even ran super fast at the very end.  We got a ribbon and a token to ride the carousel. Auntie Leanne ran a race too, so we cheered her on! She got first place and got a prize also.  Grace and I got our faces painted before going for a carousel ride. We ate lunch and gave hugs before we all headed home. I slept most of the way home!

Bella
I had fun at enchanted forest watching the boys play and even went down the slide with mama. I rode in the stroller and took a short nap in there too. Mama thought I felt warm so she checked and I had a fever. I didn't have any other symptoms but my molars are starting to come through. She gave me some medicine, but I didn't eat any dinner. I had some applesauce before I fell asleep that night. I woke up crying a few times in the night.  I enjoyed watching Grace and Jace in their race the next morning. I was a bit fussy for mama on the ride home.

Mama brought home more apples and made more sauce after workout on Monday. I knew she was busy, so I played with Bella and held her when she cried. I was a big helper for mama, and I was excited to eat fresh applesauce for a snack! Mama worked on Tuesday and I had fun with my friends at grandma's house. On Wednesday after nap, we headed back to Roseburg for three whole days with papa and grandma. We took them for dinner first, then daddy and mama left for a fun anniversary trip. I was excited to stay at grandma's, and had lots of fun. I played with cars and animals while my friends were at school. I rode my bike a bunch in their driveway, and can go super fast now. Papa went hunting and grandma didn't feel well on Friday, so I got to watch a movie. Grandma took us to Hayes' birthday party on Saturday. He had a basketball party and we played and had so much fun we didn't even want to stop to eat. Daddy and mama came while we were having lunch. They stayed for cake and then we headed for home. They told us they had lots of fun and they each got an inflatable paddle board. I'm excited to go with them sometime! I got a prize at church for memorizing a verse from the bible and then had a fun day at home after church. Mama worked on Tuesday and daddy left for a biking trip Wednesday with his buddies. We went to mama's workout, kinder gym and story time and had a fun week. They read about pirates at the library and then I made my very own pirate hat. Mama did some sewing, we baked muffins and we had a tea party. Daddy came home on Friday night after we went to bed. It is starting to get dark earlier and mama decorated the house for fall. The leaves are falling, but the weather is still pretty warm.

Bella
I could eat applesauce at every meal, I love it! I have been pretty brave at kinder gym and go play with other kids. I climb the mats and crawl under them too. I was a good girl for grandma, but I woke up early every day. I had fun playing and throwing all of the basketballs at the party on Saturday. I was the smallest kiddo, but still had lots of fun😀.  I was super excited to see daddy when he and mama showed up, and never left his lap the rest of the time. I'm getting to be quite the daddy's girl lately. If he is home, I want to be with him at all times. When he goes outside without me, I sit by the door and cry😧. I loved my first real tea party that we had. I spilled my tea of course, but the muffins were yummy. I'm starting to say a few more words, but like to scream real loud when things don't go my way!

We Love Applesauce!

We had a busy week of workout,  applesauce canning and just having fun! I'm getting very good on my bike,  I learned to start all by myself and I can even stand up to pedal! Mama put applesauce in my oatmeal one morning and I said, "mama this tastes just like Apple pie and my tummy is very happy". On Thursday grandma and mama's friend Amber came over for dinner and to spend the night. Bella and I showed them the garden and our chickens that are so big now. The next morning, mama, Bella and I took them to a trailhead of the Pacific crest trail. They are hiking 52 miles on the trail to crater lake. We took my bike along and I rode it in the parking lot while they got ready to go. We waved to them as they hiked away, then headed to the park to meet miss Tami, Maren and Maddox for a bike ride and walk. We rode all of our energies out and then mama took Bella and I to story time at the library. On Saturday mama made pulled pork for a potluck at Mr Kelly and miss Melinda's house for a going away party. Mama has worked with Mr Kelly for a lot of years and he got a different job. It was also a pool party and I was in the pool the entire time we were there. I had so much fun playing with all of the big kids that were there. I even did a flip off of the diving board. We met uncle Nick, aunt Lori and the kids at the fabric store so mama could make them some sheets for their trailer. Then we headed for home. We went to church on Sunday, and they told me that next week I move to the next bible school class. On Monday uncle Bill and aunt Doreen came over to visit and had lunch. Then mama headed to crater lake to meet Amber and grandma to spend the night and hike with them their last day. Bella and I had some fun daddy time. We went to workout the next morning and then played outside a bunch. We put some puzzles together and picked some flowers for mama. We were napping when grandma, Amber and mama got back, but I was excited to see mama when I woke up.  We went to workout again on Wednesday and tried to get into swim class but couldn't. I guess I have to wait until October. Thursday mama and daddy both worked and we went to grandma and papa's house. Friday was another fun day of biking and story time with my buddy Maren. Saturday morning we went over to the Rogers' house so mama and miss Tami could can pears, Apple pie filling and freeze pesto and spaghetti sauce. They had a productive day, but Maren and I hung out with Allan until nap time. We got along and had a lot of fun. All four of us kids took a nap at the same time too! After nap, Allan took us on a hay ride behind the tractor and I loved it. Bella even went for a short ride with us. After dinner, Maren got me to play dress up with her. Allan told me that the black dress was like Batman, so I put it on. We headed home after a long and fun day. We went to my new bible school class on Sunday morning and they gave me homework. I did my homework as soon as we got home and I am supposed to memorize a bible verse for this month. Teach me your way, oh Lord. I had it down by the end of the day:)

Bella
My teeth are still bugging me, but I am feeding myself with a spoon pretty well. I had fun running in the parking lot where we dropped grandma and Amber off, and giggled a bunch when mama ran with me in the stroller to keep up with Jace on his bike. I don't listen to the story very well at the library, but there are lots of wooden puzzles that I play with there. I got in the pool for a short time at Mr Kelly's house, but wasn't really that excited about all of the other people. I enjoyed playing in his rocks and putting them through the holes of the fence. I took good naps on the way up and the way home. I had fun playing with the other babies at church and we had a family movie of robin hood with popcorn after nap. I slept through lunch and woke up just before aunt Doreen and uncle Bill left on Monday. I loved my time with my daddy while mama was gone too.  One of my molars is poking through, but the other one on top on the same side is coming through too. I threw up at grandma's because my teeth hurt so bad, but once they popped through, my appetite was back. I had lots of fun at the Rogers house. I ate apples, snuggled Maddox and ate plums for lunch. I made a mess! I went in the swing and went on a hay ride with the kids, I laid down and almost fell asleep:) church was good on Sunday!
