Trip to The Dalles to see Bampa and Lala!

When daddy got home on Saturday we all had breakfast and started packing to go to bampa and lala's house for a few days.  Bella and I were very good on the ride there.  We stopped in Roseburg first,  mama and I went in to say hi to grandma and to go to the bathroom while daddy and Bella got gas and let Alli out to pee.  Bella and I napped and I had lots of snacks in the truck. I was excited to get there, but I wasn't hungry for dinner when we arrived. I ate a few bites of enchiladas and beans, then Bella and I took a bath. I stayed up a little later than usual and I slept in my own little bed in the same room as daddy and mama. Bella slept in the pack and play in another room. I woke up daddy and mama at 3am crying because I was throwing up. Mama took me to the bathroom and cleaned me up while daddy cleaned up my bed. I didn't feel good and didn't want to go back in my bed, so mama and I went down to the couch. I snuggled her and fell back to sleep on her. Grace and auntie Leanne were planning to come over but since I was sick, they stayed home and I snuggled with lala and mama. I had a fever off and on all day. Daddy and bampa went to auntie Leanne's house while we napped. I got to watch the movie Frozen for the first time, and I liked it. I didn't eat anything all day, but lala got me some pedialite and I drank that. That night I woke up at 1 am because my eyes hurt, mama said I had a fever, but I didn't want any medicine. She took me down stairs again and she had me drink lots of water whenever I woke up. When everyone else got up, I felt better and was a little more energetic, but not good enough to go play in the snow like we planned:( I had a fever in the afternoon again, but no more stomach bug, so uncle Tyler, auntie Leanne and Grace came over for dinner and to exchange Christmas gifts. Bampa and lala got me swim lessons, a swim suit and a robe that lala made for the pool. I also got a new fire truck hat and gloves, a writing board and book for in the car and the movie Planes with a toy plane for in the bath tub from uncle Tyler, auntie Leanne and Grace. Mama made Grace a play house and Grace and I played in that quite a bit. We watched Frozen again after bath and I went to bed pretty late. We packed up and headed for home the next morning, I was glad to be feeling better. We had another good car ride home, but it was cold when we got home. I helped mama unpack today, and I pretended to cut down trees using daddy's roller. I yelled "timber" every time it fell over. Miss Tami and Maren came over for dinner, and I planned to be nice and share. That made mama happy, except I changed my mind as soon as they got here and we fought quite a bit. Mama says that tomorrow we are starting a new year, but that just sounds silly to me.

Bella
I slept more in the car on the way to bampa and lala's house than I do at home in my own crib. I greeted them with lots of snuggles and smiles when we got there. I had fun splashing at bath time and jumped a bunch in the Johnny jump up. Unlike Jace, I slept for 12 hours every night that I was there. I was super happy when I was awake and even smiled a bunch for some of lala's friends that came over. I showed them my smooth army crawl and ate my veggies when they were disguised with fruit. I was very good in the truck on the way home as well. Maren gave me lots of attention when they came over today, she and Jace even got in a fight over who was going to give me my sippy cup with water and I thought it was funny. I also giggle when I watch Jace jump on his trampoline. Goodbye to 2014!

 

Merry Merry Christmas!

I woke up at 4:30 and asked mama if Santa came,  she told me yes, but wouldn't let me go see him.  She said he already left,  but I could see what he brought after daddy got home.  We finally went back to sleep around 6 and slept until 7:30, so we only watched the movie for about 45 minutes until daddy got home.  I was so excited to see that Santa brought me the four wheeler that I wanted. Next we opened our stockings. I handed out presents to everyone before opening more of my presents.  I was so excited about every present that I opened. When I opened a toy, I played with it and when I opened a book, I asked mama to read it. I got some fun books, trucks with light up wheels,  my own trampoline,  a new toy shotgun and dinosaur boots. I opened a card with money and took it straight to my room and put it in my piggy bank.  I also got my favorite movie Barnyard and the movie Robin Hood. After we ate yummy apple pancake,  we went outside to ride my four wheeler. I had a lot of fun on it, it even has a horn and plays a couple of songs. I rode it some more after nap and jumped on my trampoline. Daddy and mama took down the Christmas tree because the needles were falling off everywhere and making big messes. Daddy made some yummy ham soup for dinner and we read my new books over and over again before bed. Mama and I also did a puppet show for Bella and she loved it! Papa and grandma came to visit on Friday, and I was excited to show them my new four wheeler and how high I can jump on my trampoline.  Grandma built legos with me and papa played my new games with me. I walked out to get the mail with papa and half way out the driveway I stopped and said " aw sugar baby, I forgot my gun", and I turned around and headed for home. Papa talked me into getting the mail first.

                                      

Bella
Mama fed me at 5 when I woke up but then I went back to sleep until daddy got home from work. Santa brought me a bunch of animal puppets, they make me smile and laugh.  Jace helped me open some of my presents,  but I got some new books, a doll, a stack of rings, some new socks and money. I really liked Jace's trucks that have light up wheels, I crawled across the floor quickly to get them. Jace let me sit on the back of his four wheeler,  and I went outside to watch him ride it.  It was pretty cold,  so mama and I went back inside.  I still gag on all of my vegetables,  but mama started mixing them with applesauce and I eat them that way sometimes.  I got puffs in my stocking,  but I gag on those too.  Mama says I'm way pickier than Jace was;) papa gave me frozen strawberries in my mesh bag and they were tasty. I was wrinkling my nose a bunch and make papa laugh a lot. Grandma put me on the trampoline and I thought it was fun to sit on.

Daddy and mama had to work on Monday,  so Bella and I went to papa and grandma's house.  We had a good day playing,  and mama got off work early. I went to Costco with her and helped with the grocery shopping, it was crazy busy there. Then we headed home for dinner.  On Tuesday morning, we delivered the food baskets to the families in need. I helped carry some of the food and the lego present I helped pick out for a young boy. The families were very thankful and we smiled and told them merry Christmas.  We talked about the significance of Christmas and since it is Jesus birthday,  I asked mama if we could have cupcakes for his birthday party. I helped mama carry the clothes basket to my room to put my clothes away so that she doesn't hurt her back again. We all watched part of the movie prancer before bed.  Daddy worked on Wednesday,  and mama and I made chocolate chip muffins because Santa clause is coming over tomorrow.  After my nap, mama cut my hair and we got ready for church service.  Mama gelled my hair and she said I looked handsome.  It poured rain all day,  so I didn't get much energy out. When we got to church, we saved seats for Maren and her mama and grandma.  Then I danced in the aisles to the music until service started. I was so full of energy and excited to see Maren that I didn't behave very well. Mama had to take Bella and I out to the lobby a couple of times during the service. Mama wasn't very happy when we left church to go home.  After dinner I was a very good boy and mama said that we could watch another Christmas movie and have popcorn before bed. I also get to sleep in mama's bed tonight because it is a special night, Christmas eve. Daddy doesn't get home from work tomorrow until 8:30, so mama says we can watch the rest of the movie in the morning until he gets home. I also can't see what Santa brings to me until then either.

Bella
I jumped in my Johnny jump up some more at grandma's, and papa thinks that I am so silly. I gave them both lots of snuggles and was a good girl. I got lots of attention in the store,  mama even let me sit up in the cart next to Jace. I slept all the way home. I stared in the jeep while daddy and mama delivered the food baskets, but played on the floor a bunch when we got home. I only slept 45 minutes all day on Wednesday before church, so I was a cranky baby during the service.  I looked like a pretty baby girl,  but I wasn't happy. Maren and Jace made me smile at first when they were dancing, but then I got really sleepy.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

I got a new helmet with a face guard,  so I wouldn't get hurt as much on my bike. I love it, it looks just like my neighbor Styles' helmet.  I rode my bike a lot this week,  and even rode through the puddles and got wet and muddy, it was so fun though.  On Wednesday Bella,  mama and I went to miss Tami's house for dinner and to make crafts. Maren and I got to decorate Christmas cookies too,  it was messy but fun.  They got me a foam pogo stick for Christmas and Maren and I had fun jump jump jumping.  On Thursday, we went back to miss Tami's house for her surprise birthday dinner and party.  We turned all of the lights off and when she got home from work we started singing happy birthday, it was exciting and silly.  We wore silly hats and glasses for the party too.  I helped carry the birthday cake and also helped miss Tami blow out the candles. Mama hurt her back on Friday,  so she and daddy didn't go to their Christmas party,  we all stayed home and had a fun family day instead. We went to grandma and papa's house to have Christmas with everyone on Saturday.  We had steak and shrimp, but I wasn't very hungry. I got Legos,  my own play computer and a game called elefun. I love all of my new toys!  On Sunday, mama's back still hurt and daddy was coughing a lot.  We didn't go to church,  only to pick up hams for the food baskets we were going to deliver to some families in need. I built Legos with daddy and played with my new toys.

                              

Bella
I was very happy to see daddy on Tuesday morning when he got home from work.  I had fun showing him how I can do an army crawl across the floor when there is something that I need to get to across the room. When I eat my cereal, I like to crinkle up my nose and spray food all over mama, I think it is very funny. I laugh and smile all the time when I am awake, but my favorite is watching Jace play.

He entertains me and makes me smile a lot, I love him. Miss Tami and Maren made me a taggie blanket.  I love all of the different color ribbons it has on it, but most of all I love sucking on them! I got lots of snuggles from aunt Lori on Saturday at grandma's. I was a good baby and took a little nap during dinner. I got a stuffed Rudolph that sings and a fun hippo game that has colorful shapes that I can chew on. I also got some money for my piggy bank so I can catch up with Jace:)

 

 

Gingerbread houses at papa and grandma's

Mama woke us up early to head to grandma and papa's for a few days.  Mama had to work Friday and Monday and was on call for the weekend. I played with my cousins on Friday and learned how to use scissors.  I cut lots of paper and was excited to show mama when she got home.  Mama played with us and had breakfast before she got called in on Saturday, then we spent the rest of the day with papa because grandma was at work too.  He let me watch my favorite movie The Barnyard.  Uncle Nick,  aunt Lori and the kids came over early to make dinner for us. When grandma and mama got home,  we had a yummy dinner.  Uncle Josh and auntie Shell came over too,  so we could all decorate gingerbread houses together.  Mama helped me and we made a log house with a gum roof. I wanted to eat all of the candy instead of decorating with it but mama said no. I did eat a few crackers,  pretzels and I licked the sugar off of a gumdrop. Mama had to work early on Sunday,  so grandma had breakfast with me before she left for work.  We had a big day so I took a three hour nap for papa.  Wyatt,  Shea and Kenzi all came over after dinner to watch the nutcracker and spend the night. The plan was for me to spend the night with Wyatt,  but when I realized mama wasn't coming I decided not to go. We had popcorn before I went to bed, and I love popcorn! We all made pasta wreaths on Monday, and I took mine home to show my daddy.

Bella
I am very vocal these days, I like to jabber a lot to my cousins and watch them play. Grandma got a new toy out for me called the Johnny jump up and I love it. I could jump jump jump all day long:) mama put me in the pack and play to sleep at night and put me in the laundry room so that I wouldn't wake everyone up, but I think that I yelled loud enough to still do just that. I snuggled papa on Saturday and got cranky while everyone was decorating gingerbread houses, so grandma gave me a bath and made me feel better.  Papa thought for sure that I was going to start crawling, but I still just get on all fours and rock back and forth. I took a big nap like Jace on Sunday, and slept 2.5 hours.  I was happy to see my mama when she got home from work because I was hungry. I love bath time especially with my brother because I splash him and he makes me laugh. I still don't like my veggies, but I have been eating fruit in my oatmeal and rice cereal.

Christmas tree hunting and Lala's visit!

On Saturday morning we headed for the mountains to get our Christmas tree with a bunch of friends. We packed our snow clothes, but there wasn't any snow when we got there. It was sunny, cold and beautiful up there. I napped on the way there and daddy got a big fire started before everyone got there. My friend Maren was there and another girl named Cami. I went on a really fun four wheeler ride with daddy, and went on a bunch of wagon rides. The Nelson's took me for an atv ride too. I helped mama pick out our Christmas tree. I told her it was nice, but it didn't have any lights on it. She said we could put some on it when we got home, and I told her that was a good idea.😃 we played hard and ate lots of yummy food, I slept all the way off of the mountain, and woke up when we stopped for pizza for dinner. Daddy and mama put the Christmas tree up the next morning, and Lala came in the afternoon. I scared her with my dinosaur mask when she got here. She just had a birthday, so I helped mama make brownie cupcakes and we sang happy birthday to her. I helped blow out her candle. Daddy had to work on Monday and Lala took me to kinder gym. After nap, I showed her how I ride my bike down the driveway and I crashed really hard. I cut my lip, gums and hit my head. We decided that my helmet is too small for me. Tuesday we decorated the tree and played outside some more. Lala had a tea party with me and read me lots of books before bed. Daddy got the fire engine out and we rode in it down to the house on Wednesday before Lala went home. I showed her how to pull the air horn and it was very very loud. We spent Thursday with daddy while mama finished the rest of her sewing projects. Then we went to the gym so daddy and mama could work it out. I had fun with miss Jovana and the other kiddos that were there.

Bella
I got lots of snuggles by the fire when we went to the mountain. I took two big naps in my car seat in the truck. There was another baby there that was a little older than me. On Sunday we had a relaxing morning and I practiced crawling. Daddy and mama got my gate finished for around the wood stove just in case I start crawling soon. I got a bunch of snuggles from lala when she was here, she thinks I'm a little angel that never cries, but that is only because she didn't hear me in the night. I splashed her a bunch when she gave me my bath, and made messes when she fed me my cereal and fruit. I enjoyed the day with daddy on Thursday, and jabbered a lot to miss Jovana and I loved when she talked to me with the puppet there.
