Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a good afternoon with daddy on Monday, and I helped mama unpack from our trip on Tuesday because daddy had to work.  Wednesday morning,  we headed to town when daddy got home to take Bella to the Dr.  Then we went to miss Lori's house so daddy could help her with a few things.  She gave me a really cool monkey hat that I love. After lunch and nap we went outside and played until dark. On thanksgiving,  we called some family to wish them happy thanksgiving and I got several time outs. Mama had a talk with me about all of the things we have to be thankful for. We headed to the fire station in the afternoon to have dinner with daddy.  They made us homemade pizzas and they were yummy. When daddy got home on Friday,  he stayed home and played with Bella and I while mama went to do some shopping. Grandma and papa came to visit on Saturday and I had lots of fun playing.  Papa played outside with me for a while and Stiles came to visit too.  We all went to Medford for the Christmas tree lighting.  There was a candy cane hunt,  a bounce house,  Santa Claus was there and daddy had the fire engine there. There was a nice tiger and I gave him a big hug. It was really cold, so we headed home before they lit the tree, but we saw lots of pretty lights on houses on the way home. I asked mama if I could eat one of my candy canes that I found, but she said that the sugar was bad for my teeth. I said, " sugar is bad for my teeth but good for my tongue" and grandma thought it was really funny.

Bella
When I went to the Dr I weighed in at 17 pounds and 26.5 inches long, and my head size is in the 90th percentile.  I didn't have to get any shots because there wasn't at least 2 months since my last immunizations.  I will have to go get them another day. I gave miss Lori and her sister lots of smiles when we went to visit.  She got me a cute hat and lots of pretty headbands.  I was a good girl at the fire station and stayed awake the entire time we were there. I enjoyed spending the morning with my daddy on Friday.  On Saturday,  I got lots of snuggles from my grandma and papa.  I didn't take very big naps,  but I just wanted to be snuggled. Mama bundled me and put me in the stroller for the event in Medford, I slept through most of it though.

                                

Fun in Sunriver with Family!

Daddy entertained us when he got home on Friday while mama packed the jeep to spend the weekend in Sunriver. I am excited to see Lala, Grace and auntie Leanne. Bella and I slept for the first part of the drive, but then I had to pee and Bella had to eat before we got all the way there. The house we stayed in for the weekend was cozy. Mama and I shared a bed and Bella slept in the pack and play next to our bed. I kept mama awake a little the first night but we all slept until 7 am. After breakfast, we headed to the resort indoor pool. Lala got in the pool with me and I had fun playing in the water that sprayed up and the bucket that dumps on your head. Auntie Leanne swam with grace, and we jumped off of the side a bunch and did a lot of splashing. We headed back to the house for lunch and nap. It snowed during our nap so we played in the snow when we woke up then played in the hot tub after that. We showered, ate and watched a movie called Planes and ate a lot of popcorn. Lala made us all matching pajamas and also made me a blanket and pillow that I used for movie time. We all slept better on Saturday night, and it snowed a couple inches over night. We went outside and went sled riding before the pool opened, then headed to the pool. Mama didn't go because Bella was sleeping, but this time we went in the big deep pool and I jumped in and auntie Leanne taught me to turn over on my back after I go under. Grace swam the whole length of the pool! After lunch and nap we went on an adventure walk to the store and then went in the hot tub with mama again. We watched the lion king before bed that night. Auntie Leanne went for a run on Monday morning and she pushed me in the stroller while mama packed our stuff to head home. I had a lot of fun and auntie Leanne even let me play at the park for a bit. I wanted to spend another night there, but mama said we had to go home. Bella and I slept almost the entire way home, but were excited to see daddy when we got home! I told him all about our super fun weekend.

Bella

I was a good traveler on our way to Sunriver, and was happy to see Lala, Grace and auntie Leanne when we got there. I slept like a champ the first two nights! I was a very happy girl during the day, watching Jace and Grace swim and play. Lala read to me, played on the floor with me and fed me my cereal. Grace held me a lot and tried feeding me a few bites too. Auntie Leanne took me for a ride in the stroller while she ran so that mama and lala could do some sewing while Jace and Grace napped. I had fun, but the fresh air put me to sleep too. The last night I managed to keep mama up most of the night, I think I just slept too much during the day. I also tried pears and my tummy was very gurgly. I enjoyed all of the snuggles from lala grace and auntie Leanne. I was also happy to see daddy when we got home.

Saturday morning we went to town to get some groceries and fabric for some of mama's projects. I was very friendly at the store, said hi to everyone we went by. I helped mama pick out Bella's outfit, she looked so cute. After nap I helped mama cut up a bunch of veggies to put in our soup for dinner. I also helped make biscuits to go with the soup and I cut them in the shape of hearts. Miss Tami came over at bedtime so she and mama could work on sewing projects while we slept. I heard mama open my door before she went to bed, so I snuck into mama's bed with her and fell asleep without her knowing that I was there until Bella woke up. On Sunday we got all packed to go to grandma's. We stopped at miss Lori's house on our way because she got me a present. She gave me a super cool car and truck that go forward and backward when you push their buttons. I had a lot of fun playing with them at grandma's with Wyatt on Monday. We went for a walk when we got to grandma's, and we ran, skipped and sang songs. Mama worked on Monday and Tuesday, and I was kind of ornery for grandma. One afternoon, Wyatt and I cut out pictures from magazines and glued them to construction paper,  that was pretty fun. Grandma cooked a turkey dinner for us since we won't be here for thanksgiving. Daddy came home on Tuesday and Bella and I rode home with him. I got a new clock that turns green when it is time to get up, so I wait until it turns green before going in to snuggle with daddy and mama. We had a fun day with daddy on Wednesday. We went to town, then played outside after nap and watched part of the ice age movie before bed. Daddy worked on Thursday and I helped mama pack for our big trip to Sunriver for the weekend.

Jace continues to show me how to crawl and I try real hard but can't quite get it yet. Mama still hasn't found much good that I like yet, but I do love my baby cereal though. Anything Jace does to entertain me make me laugh and smile. When miss Tami came over, she was going to give me my bath to give mama's back a break. I started screaming when I went out of mama's sight, so when mama came into the bathroom I was fine. I enjoyed our walk when we got to grandma's and was a happy girl! I had fun with my cousins, but didn't sleep much. I slept all the way home with daddy on Tuesday evening. I also surprised mama by sleeping 12 hours straight without waking for several nights in a row! We tried on our snow clothes before packing for our trip to Sunriver, we looked silly😃

We had a few nice days that we played outside. On Saturday, daddy went to the neighbor's house to help with some more tree cutting. When he came home he told me that the neighbor gave us his 1970s fire engine, It is a big big one! That afternoon we went to daddy's friend's house for a bonfire and potluck. They had a big play structure, a zip line, and lots of fun toys to play with. I even chased some of their chickens. Daddy roasted me a hot dog and it was yummy. My tummy hurt so I didn't eat my marshmallow. On Sunday, we made some crafts and after nap, we headed to grandma's house to spend the night because mama had to work on Monday. We played outside again on Tuesday, and I spent Wednesday morning with daddy while mama and Bella ran errands. That afternoon we went to meet the new neighbor's that are renting there. I helped mama make cookies to take to them. There is a boy named Stiles that lives there. He is 8 years old and he has his own motorcycle. I liked watching him jump and do tricks. Then daddy took us to see our very own fire engine! He started it and I sat in the captain's seat while we drove it around. He even let me pull the air horn, it was so cool. Stiles followed us home to see where we lived, and showed me a few tricks to try on my bike. I helped daddy fill the wood box for mama because daddy was going hunting with papa to get a big elk. It was raining all day so we stayed inside the rest of the day. Mama got a new toy out for Bella that used to be mine, and we are having fun playing with it. I have been a big helper to mama since daddy is gone, I like to help cook, do laundry and unload the silverware out of the dish washer. Stiles came by again today, he got a brand new bike. He was showing me how to jump and go really fast. We had a lot of fun outside until it got cold and started to get dark. After dinner, I helped mama give Bella a bath and had lots of fun making her laugh at me. I love her so much!

Bella
I have been very good for mama this last week, sleeping and eating well. So far, I love baby cereal, baby oatmeal and sweet potatoes. I dislike avocados, carrots and peas, they mostly make me gag. I enjoyed watching the bonfire and being outside on Saturday. I fell asleep watching the fire, it was warm and relaxing. I now can roll all of the way across the room wherever I want to go. I was a happy baby for grandma, and fell asleep on her chest before mama came to get me. I love watching Jace jump and run around, he makes me laugh all the time. The new toy mama got out is fun, but I can't quite touch the floor so she has to put a pillow under there for me.

We went to the fire station to have dinner with daddy on Sunday. Miss Tami and Maren came too. We had yummy nachos for dinner, they were messy but good! I watched Allan climb on top of the fire truck, so I did too. It was very high up, but I was careful. We also rode the golf cart around the station, I rang the doorbell and ran, it was funny. We headed to grandma's on Monday because mama had to work. I was a good boy and played well with my cousins. Daddy went hunting on Tuesday with with his friend Manny but they didn't have any luck. Mama built me a ramp for my bike and I rode down the hill and then hit it really fast. Bella watched from the front porch, she thought I was funny. I just recently started taking my sleep sack off in my crib and climbing out all by myself without calling for mama. I also take off my pull up, get my underwear and pjs and go to wake up mama. I am so proud of myself for being suck a big boy, but mama isn't as amused. Wednesday mama got called into work to help out, so Bella and I spent the day with daddy. We put a big puzzle together, read books and went outside to play after nap. It got dark real early (which I don't like) so after dinner and bath we watched a movie. We were eating popcorn and snuggled on mama's bed when she got home. I helped mama hang up some pictures in the hall, I handed her all of the tools when she needed them. I got some vampire teeth in my goodie bag at the Halloween party and I like to where them with my headband on and slippers on my hands. Mama says I'm a silly goose! I still really enjoy playing fire fighter at home, my car inside is my fire truck.

Bella
I am doing better at sleeping at night time now, which is making mama be less cranky. I push myself up real high on my arms but can't quite get my knees under my body yet. I just end up pushing myself backwards. I did a lot of squeaking at the fire station, because I liked to hear myself. Daddy gave me a ride on the golf cart too:) I watched Jace ride his bike and smiled every time he said "hey Bella, watch this!". I took a bath with Jace on Tuesday night and he splashed me a bunch, but I still had fun. I was a good girl for daddy on Wednesday, ate all of my bottles and cereal like a champ. Jace even fed me one of my bottles. I fell asleep in daddy and mama's bed while Jace watched a movie. Mama fed me when she got home and put me to bed.

We went to kinder gym again last Monday and I was the only kiddo there to play. I jumped on the trampoline a bunch and had lots of fun.  Daddy came home after I went to bed,  but didn't have any luck hunting. Tuesday, I rode my bike outside and played with puzzles inside. On Wednesday mama took me to kinder gym and story time at the library. They read books about the election and we colored and made hats. On Thursday, I painted one of our pumpkins and played with my Tonka truck outside. It was chilly, but we wore coats to stay warm. The leaves are falling all over in the yard, and I said to mama "what's up with that?". Mama also let me feed Bella her cereal. Friday was Halloween, but Bella kept mama up all night crying so mama called in sick. I was bummed that we didn't go to grandma's, but we had a relaxing day at home. Aunt dot sent Bella and I Halloween cards and they had money in them! There was a knock knock joke on mine that I keep repeating. Saturday we went to town with mama to get some supplies to make daddy's costume, then after nap we headed for uncle Nick and aunt Lori's house. I was woody the cowboy and mama was Jessie, daddy and Bella were Mr and Mrs potato head. They had a big Halloween party with lots of fun games, I had a lot of fun with my cousins and new friends.

Bella
After cutting two teeth, my sleep cycle got messed up, so I have been keeping mama up at night with my crying. First she thought something was wrong, but after talking to my Dr, she had been just letting me cry myself back to sleep. I slept through story time at the library, but there were kiddos at kinder gym that really liked me. I gave them big smiles and giggles. I can roll all over the living room now, and I am really enjoying my baby oatmeal. Saturday night was very stimulating, there were kids everywhere and I loved every minute. I was a good girl and let mama's friends hold me. I was sleepy by the time we left, so I slept all the way home.
