Fun at the beach!

On Friday, I went to grandma and papa's house while daddy and mama worked. I did really good with peeing on the potty, but I had a few time outs. On Saturday morning mama and daddy went to workout. When we got home mama was packing bags and packing the Jeep. She said we were going to the beach with miss Tami and Maren. After lunch, we got in the Jeep and headed to Maren's house to get them. Mama tried to keep me awake, but I fell asleep before we got to their house. I slept most of the way there, and when I woke up, Maren was in the back seat with me! We stayed at a house that was a short walk to the beach. We played at the beach until dinner time. We had so much fun chasing seagulls, throwing rocks in the water and digging in the sand. We had a good sleep, and headed back to the beach right after breakfast on Sunday morning. The weather was great with no wind. I liked playing on the drift wood and we even found a fort that someone made. After lunch and nap we went into town to get some fresh fish for dinner. There was and ice cream shop there and I had my first ice cream cone. I got chocolate, and it was delicious. The sun was bright and warm, so we headed back to the beach until it was time for dinner. I got really wet and sandy, so we headed straight to the shower when we got back. Mama said we had to go home on Monday morning, but I was sad because I had so much fun at the beach. I watched Barney while mama packed, then we all got dressed. We were off to the beach one last time before we headed home. It was another beautiful sunny day with no wind. We found another bigger fort and played in it until miss Tami and mama said it was time to go. Maren and I got along pretty well, there were a few pushes and stick swings but overall we had a great time with our mamas! After a big morning and a full tummy, I slept the whole way home.

Happy birthday to mama!

Yesterday was mama's birthday, so daddy and I made her breakfast and sang happy birthday to her. We had a picnic in the yard for lunch and after nap, daddy and I made mama a birthday cake. Daddy let me lick the beater, and it was yummy :-) mama did some sewing for my baby sister, and I watched her from the bed. Daddy made a yummy dinner for mama and then we had a family bubble bath. I woke up on the wrong side of the crib this morning and had several time outs. Mama put me down for nap early, and I was much better after that. Papa and grandma came and worked on the garden again, they made lots of progress today. I played hide and seek with grandma when they didn't need her help, and we ran down the hill a whole bunch too. It rained some today, so I found a mud puddle to play in.

Happy Easter!

On Friday, I went to grandma and papa's house again because daddy and mama had to work. I was a very good boy for them and peed on the potty several times. On Saturday, mama and I went to crossfit to "work it out", I had fun playing with Amber, the sitter at the gym. We went to the Home Depot and met grandma and papa there. Papa and Mama stayed and got some building supplies for the garden and grandma and I went home. Daddy was up on the hill burning and clearing brush. I had fun helping with the garden project, I brought papa the drill and screws whenever he needed them. On Sunday morning I got up and found that the Easter bunny had left me a basket full of goodies. I had fun opening the eggs to see what was in them and playing with the toys that I got. After breakfast, we all went to church for Easter. I told grandma on the way there that I didn't want to go, so when they dropped me off at bible school, I cried a lot. After church we came home and worked outside some more. I didn't go outside until after nap. Mama cooked ham, mashed potatoes, broccoli salad and homemade rolls. Miss Tami and Maren came over for dinner, and daddy's friend Manny. After dinner, we went outside for an Easter egg hunt. I was more interested in seeing what was in the eggs rather than finding more. When papa and grandma got ready to leave mama said that I could go with them to spend the night since she had to work on Monday anyways. We were almost to Roseburg before grandma realized that mama forgot to pack Dee, my snuggle bunny. We stopped at uncle Nick and aunt Lori's house and I borrowed Kenzi's pink snuggle bunny. When grandma put me to bed I told her "Kenzi's Dee is yucky", but I snuggled with it anyways.

 

 

 

 

 

Daddy's new four-wheeler

On Sunday, we went to Medford to look at a four Wheeler for daddy and we got it. On Monday, mama had to work so I spent the day with papa, grandma, Lane and Hayes. We had a good time on the play structure and looking for tadpoles in the pond. I got a couple time outs when we were outside and had to sit in a chair. Tuesday, when daddy got home, we went for a ride on his new four Wheeler. I had so much fun! Daddy finished the holes for the garden posts, and I tried to help. I had to go to the Dr on Wednesday morning. I weighed in at 28lbs, and measured 34 inches tall. The Dr gave me a new Cars book, and I had to have a shot. When we got home, papa and grandma were there. They came to cement in the post holders for the garden. I took a long nap and they got them all done while I was sleeping. After nap, I helped mama take the empty bags to the burn pile. I also helped her water her flowers, and took a few drinks myself while the hose was on! Papa and grandma headed home, so mama and I went for a ride in daddy's four Wheeler.

Fun in The Dalles!

I had lots of fun playing outside with bampa and Lala. I played on the swing and in the sand box a lot. Lala and mama took me to the river to play on the sandy beach. It was really warm, so I decided to splash and jump in the shallow water, but ended up falling all of the way in the river. It was cold, but I didn't mind much. Grace and auntie Leanne came over when we got back from the river. We had fun with sidewalk chalk and popping balloons. I also liked jumping off the top of the step ladder. On Friday, Lala and mama took Grace and I to story time at the library. After lunch and nap, daddy and mama went to a George Strait concert and I stayed with Bampa, Lala and Grace. We went to the park to play and then in the sandbox again. Saturday morning, Lala, auntie Leanne, Grace and I headed to Portland to meet daddy and mama. Then daddy, mama and I headed home. It was a big weekend and I took a big nap on the way home!

Crazy week!

The weather has been amazing and sunny and that means playtime outside. Monday, daddy took me to Miss Tami and Maren's house on his way to work because mama had to work too. We played in her sand box and got to see her chicks again. We had a fun day of playing!!! On Tuesday daddy and mama worked on the garden digging post holes, and I played with Alli. Wednesday daddy had to work, but mama and I were outside pretty early. We watered flowers, went for a walk and I did tricks on my trike. While I was napping, daddy called mama from work to tell us that great grandpa had passed away. He came home from work, we all packed our bags (I helped) and headed to the Dalles to support Lala.

Last weekend, we went over to Maren and miss Tami's house for dinner. Maren and I had fun playing, and I got to see their baby chickens. They were small and very soft. On Sunday we had a relaxing day and went for a long walk in between rain showers. On Monday, I spent the day with Aunt Lori while mama went to work. I had fun racing cars around their kitchen with my cousins. Tuesday was a rainy day and we stayed inside. Daddy built me a fort with a blanket, I liked playing inside. Wednesday was a beautiful, sunny day and while daddy and mama worked on the garden area, I played with Alli, ran down the hill, and played in the mud. Thursday mama had to work again, but I got to stay home with daddy. His friend Allan (Maren's daddy), brought his tractor over and leveled the garden spot. Daddy planned that as a surprise for mama, and she was very happy when she came home!  Today, mama and I went grocery shopping while daddy put primer paint on the walls of my future playroom. Mama made dinner for the Rogers' to thank them for leveling the garden area and we all went to drop it off. I got to see Maren, and we went to the chicken coup again to see the chicks. Allan also made a little attic in the coup and we climbed up there to play. We also had fun climbing up a pile of bark and running down over and over.
