Open Gym!

Sunday morning we slept in and went to church. Bampa worked on my future play room again, and got all of the texturing done. After nap, daddy and mama were outside working on moving rock where the garden is going to be. I of course helped by riding in the wheel barrow and bringing tools to daddy and mama. Monday morning, bampa left to go home and mama and I went to open gym for kids. Papa and grandma got me some passes to try it out. I had so much fun jumping on the trampoline, running up mats and jumping into the foam pit. We spent the rest of the day outside because it was supposed to be the last sunny day for a while. Tuesday, daddy and mama moved the guest bed to the computer room, a really comfy chair to my room, and my rocking chair to my baby sister's room. Now her room is all ready for her, I can't wait to meet her. I talk to her through mama's tummy, and I noticed mama's belly button is broken. I try to fix it by pushing it back in but it doesn't work! Wednesday we went to open gym again, and daddy came with me. There were a lot of kids there, but it was still really fun. Thursday morning mama and I headed to Roseburg to uncle Nick and Aunt Lori's. Mama stayed with Kenzi, Shea, Wyatt and I while uncle Nick and Aunt Lori went to work. We all had fun racing cars around their kitchen and playing duck-duck goose! Mama got called off of work on Friday, so we headed home. I helped mama make apple pancake for breakfast this morning before daddy got home from work. It dumped rain all day, so we stayed inside. I was not a very good boy today, I got several time outs and cried a lot. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day :-)

My cowboy bithday party!

Friday was a busy day, we had to go to town in the morning to pick up some last minute things for my birthday party. When we got home Bampa came, and we all had lunch. Daddy and bampa worked on texturing my future play room, while Lala and mama finished sewing the stick horses for my party. I helped daddy clear some brush and sticks around the yard to put on the bon fire for Saturday. Saturday was even more exciting, mama was baking cakes and decorating them, Lala and I had a tea party so mama could make the mac and cheese and homemade ice cream. When daddy came home from workout with my balloons, I got even more excited. Papa and grandma came just before I went down for nap to help.  When I woke up from my nap, the first thing I saw was a big cake with lots of frosting on the counter and I ran over and jumped just high enough to stick my finger in it before anyone stopped me. Lala dressed me in my cute new cowboy outfit and new cowboy boots. I went outside with the guys to help with the fire until everyone started to show up for my party. All of my cousins, and my friend Maren and their families all came. First we played some really fun games that mama made; tin can toss, horseshoes, and lasso the horse. Next she told everyone to get a stick horse and a cowboy hat for a fun race. I had so much fun riding my stick horse, I even ran down the hill with it. We all played in the back yard for a while then I opened all of my cool birthday gifts. I wanted to play with everything that I opened instead of opening the next gift, but I got a lot of really fun stuff! After we ate, it was time for the happy birthday song and most importantly cake and ice cream. I got the blue horseshoe from the top of the cake and it was delicious! My cousin Grace and I had fun running down the hill together, and we all rolled down the hill in the grass. Everyone started to leave and I was exhausted by bedtime!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday and I helped mama make cupcakes in the morning. Then Lala mama and I went shopping and get my two year old pictures taken. I was a little ham when it was picture time, but couldn't stop talking about the cupcakes and when we were going to eat them. After pictures we went and got burritos at mucho gusto for daddy and the rest of the guys at the fire station. Then we went to the station and had dinner with them. I got a big burrito and ate most of it before they sang happy birthday to me. FINALLY I got to eat my cupcake and I ate it very slow and enjoyed it. I was sure to eat all of the frosting but didn't finish the cake. There was a noise and then daddy and all of the fireman got up and left. Lala, mama and I went out to watch the big fire engines leave. They turned on their sirens and everything! Then we headed for home :-)

Busy week!

Sunday was Kenzi's birthday party, and that was fun. We played outside after she opened all of her presents. We spent the night at grandma and papa's so daddy and papa could go to the Mt early on Monday morning. After we took Kenzi to school, a went to the duck pond to feed the geese and ducks. I would take a bite of the bread first, then I would give a bite to the ducks. Next we headed for the wildlife safari. We decided to do the walk through part first, but it was too cold for most of the animals. We did see flamingos and a baby cheetah, then got back in the truck to drive through to see the rest of the animals. Shea, Wyatt and I took turns driving. While I was driving, an emu came right up to my window to check me out. On Tuesday, papa and grandma came to our house to bring some more plants and help mama plant them. I helped with watering them and carrying tools. Papa hung up my new growth chart he made too. They headed home when we were done, and mama and I went inside to make soup for dinner. Lala came just in time for dinner and gave me a bubble bath before bed! Wednesday mama had to work and I spent the day at home with daddy and Lala. We had so much fun playing outside most of the day.

Spring is here!

Papa came to our house on Wednesday morning and finished mama's laundry room table. Grandma and mama planted flowers and worked outside while I played. Daddy came home from work for dinner and I was wound up, being very silly. Papa, grandma and mama had more projects on Thursday to get done and daddy went to work again. Mama had a Dr appointment, and we got to hear baby sister's heart beat. Papa and grandma headed home after the appointment, mama and I went to crossfit. Miss Amber watched me while mama got a workout. Friday morning after daddy came home from work, he took me to cathedral hills trail to ride my strider bike. He had to push me up the hills, but I stayed on most of the time. We picked mama up from the dentist and went to our old neighbor miss Lori's house so daddy could mow her lawn. Today was an unusual day, at 9:30 I told mama I needed Dee (snuggle bunny), and wanted in my crib. She put me in my crib and left the room. She told me when I wanted out to let her know, but I ended up sleeping for two hours. When I woke up, it was beautiful outside, so we spent the afternoon raking leaves, staking out our garden, mowing the lawn and going for a four-Wheeler ride. I also rode in the wheelbarrow to haul the leaves to the burn pile. The Rogers came over for dinner, so I finally got to see my friend Maren. I missed seeing her this week. We played very well together, we hid from Maren's daddy under the kitchen table and giggled the whole time.

Family time!

I had fun with bampa while he was here to visit. He and daddy got my future play room all insulated, sheetrock, taped and plastered. Bampa is going to texture when he comes back for my birthday party. Bampa headed to California on Sunday to visit family and friends, daddy went back to work and mama and I went to church. We played outside after nap on my bike and in the mud puddle. We headed for papa and grandma's house early on Monday morning because mama had to work. I had fun with them and my cousins. We spent the night there because mama was on call and worked Tuesday too. We played outside in the ditch water and helped papa build a table for mama. I also helped grandma dig up some plants for mama to plant at our house. We went for a walk to the rock structure, and grandma and I looked over the edge for frogs. We went to Costco before heading home on Tuesday night, and grandma came home with us.

Fun outside!

Since we have been home, it has been warm enough to play outside almost every day. I was so excited to see daddy when we got home, he made us a sign and got me balloons. Maren came over to play one day and we had fun on the hill by the house. I went to grandma and papa's house a couple of days and got to play with all of my cousins. We made crafts and grandma taught me how to do a hand stand on the wall. Mama and I walked out the driveway everyday we were home. I like to find big rocks and put them in my pockets until we get to the creek, then I throw them in to watch them splash. I like to help mama do everything, cook, do laundry, put away clothes and clean up messes. Bampa came to visit yesterday, he and daddy are working on the room upstairs from my room. I like to help them whenever I can, but mama doesn't like me to climb the ladder by myself.
