A fun and beautiful weekend!

On Friday I spent the day at papa and grandma's while mama worked. Uncle Nick brought Kenzi, Wyatt and Shea over to play. It was sunny and we had so much fun playing outside. On Saturday, when I woke up from a big nap, we went to a birthday party. There were lots of kids there and it was a bit overwhelming for me. Most of the kids played outside, but I preferred to stay inside where mama and the snacks were. After the party, we visited daddy at the fire station. We played outside and I found some sticks to have a sword fight with daddy. We went to miss Tami and Maren's house on our way home. It took a bit before Maren and I learned to share, but after dinner we played very well together. We had fun cooking in her play kitchen and made each other hot cocoa. We found some of miss Tami's strainers and decided to where them as hats, it was silly! Today was another beautiful sunny day. We went to church, I had a nap, then we went for a family bike ride. When we got back we hauled some wood, made dinner and got in the big bath tub with lots of bubbles.

Cold and sunny

Mama is finally feeling better but while we were sick, we read a lot of books. I even know some of them by memory. Papa and grandma came to visit on Tuesday. Daddy and papa put some shelves up in the garage and cut down a tree. Mama worked on sewing projects and I played with grandma. We did burpees, crab walks, bear crawls and made hot cocoa in my kitchen. It was cold outside, but when the sun came out we went for a walk. Daddy had to work on Wednesday, and grandma and mama finished sewing. I spent most of the day with papa. I rode on his back, played ball, and when it got a little warmer outside we went for a walk. After we got back, I rode my car down the sidewalk and my bike down a hill. Then papa and grandma headed home. Mama and I played outside all afternoon, it was even kind of warm in the sun! I had fun running down the hill, chasing Alli and riding my car. The mailman brought a package from bampa and Lala with a new cowboy shirt for me. I struck a pose when mama put in on to see if it fit!

I got the bug :-(

Mama and I got up real early to head to Roseburg so she could work on Tuesday, but I threw up just before we got to grandma's. Mama took me in and cleaned up the car, while grandma cleaned me up. I snuggled with grandma while mama went to work to make sure they didn't need her. Then we got back in the car and headed back home. I did wake papa up before we left to say "morning", then we were on our way. Mama and I read a lot of books and she even let me watch the jungle book in her bed! I still felt crummy on Wednesday and then on Thursday mama and grandma got the stomach bug. We had another lazy day and daddy came home from work in the afternoon cuz mama was sick. Yesterday mama and I went outside and played in the sun for a while with Alli, but it was still really cold so we didn't stay out too long. Today is the first day that I wasn't clingy and I ate like my normal self, mama is still on the mend. I helped daddy wash the Jeep and blow off the sidewalk.

Weekend away!

This past weekend, we went to a house in eagle crest and stayed. We went with our friends the Rogers'. Maren and I are both the same, we can't wait to see each other, then when we do we fight. We did Have a fun time there though, we went swimming at the pool, went to the play structure there and went for a walk in between rain and snow showers. Maren brought a fun foam toy that we painted with just water and that kept us entertained for quite some time. This morning I woke up asking for a "foothie". Smoothies are probably one of my favorite things next to hot cocoa. Mama made Maren and I each one with blueberries and banana, it was yummy! We read lots of books while we were there, and we even watched part of a Barney movie before bed one night! We had to come home today, because daddy and mama both work tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing grandma and papa tomorrow.

A new crib for baby sister.

Last week I received a few more Christmas gifts by mail. Auntie Leanne, uncle Tyler and Grace got me a helicopter toy that makes noise and sings. Auntie Leanne made me some new cozy pajamas and a hooded towel. Aunt dot sent me a super cool construction plate and utensils. I like to make tractor noises when I eat with them :-) on Sunday mama and I picked up baby sister's crib and dresser, then we went to miss Tami and Maren's house for dinner and to play. Maren and I pushed each other around in her baby stoller, it was fun! Yesterday, daddy and mama got the crib and dresser all put together and in baby sister's room. I wanted to take my nap in there instead of my crib, but mama said no. Today daddy and mama had to work so I got to spend the day with papa, grandma and my cousins. I fell in the driveway and skinned up my nose, but that didn't slow me down!
