Big helper

On Thursday mama and daddy had some friends over for dinner. They have kids that are 5, 4, and 20 months. I had fun playing with all of them. On Friday, daddy put gutter guards on and I helped mama wash the Jeep. Grandma came over on Friday night and stayed. I was being really silly for grandma by winding up and throwing my snuggle bunny and giggling a lot. Daddy had to work Saturday, and grandma watched Maren and I while miss Tami and mama did an obstacle race. When they got home grandma, mama and I went to Shea's birthday party. Shea got a big doll that had glasses and I decided to try them on. It was fun but I started to get tired and cranky, so mama and I headed home. Today is an inside day, daddy has a cold and doesn't feel good, and it is cold and wet outside. Mama and I have sang songs, danced, and wrestled on the living room floor. Now I want to stack blocks even though my favorite part is knocking them  over after they are stacked.

Monday daddy and mama had to work again so I spent the day with grandma. I had fun with my cousins, when we went to pick Kenzi up from school I said hi to all of the kids that walked by. I also learned to say Kenzi today, it sounds more like dinzi. Tuesday it rained some more and we worked on inside projects. Mama read books to me and we stacked blocks. I always love helping feed Alli, even if it is raining! Daddy and mama went to workout and I went along, there was a nice girl there to watch me and a couple other kiddos. We did some crafts, but my favorite was looking through the glass and watching daddy and mama workout! This morning daddy went to cut some firewood at Allen's house, and Tami and Maren came to our house. The mamas did a workout, Maren and I tried to do the same! Maren stayed until the afternoon while Tami went to an appointment. Maren and I got in a few squabbles but we usually kissed and made up. When daddy came home we had hot soup and garlic bread.

Here comes the rain

It rained really hard on Tuesday, but we went outside to play with Alli in between the rain storms. I like climbing up the blocks in front of the garage, so I did that while mama worked on refinishing her sewing desk. Daddy came home on Wednesday night and I wrestled with him on the floor until bedtime. Daddy and mama had to work on Thursday, so I spent the day at grandma and papa's. All of my cousins were there, we went for walks and played outside. We all took a big nap so grandma could have a break. Mama and I spent the night at mama's friend Joanie's house. I had fun with miss Joanie, she spoiled me and played hide and seek with my snuggle bunny. I went right to sleep there, but woke up at 11 with the runs. Mama and I were up most of the night because I had a tummy ache and a sore bottom. Mama didn't go to work on Friday, so I had some breakfast at miss Joanie's before heading home to get some sleep. My bottom is still sore but I caught up on my sleep so I can play like usual.

Sunday morning we got up and our company and daddy left after breakfast. Daddy went to California for a few days with his friends. Mama and I went to the Rogers' to make some peach pear sauce, and I played with my friend Maren. Allen took us on a long wagon ride before we headed home. I went the entire day without a nap, so mama took me home, fed me, bathed me, and put me to bed early. This morning I slept in and after breakfast I helped mama wash the Jeep. We went for a wagon ride to get our garbage can at the end of the driveway. On our way we met grandma, Miss Linda and Shea and Wyatt, they came to visit us.We played in the back yard with Alli until nap time. They all left soon after I woke up and I helped mama hang shelves in the laundry room. I handed her the drill when she was ready ;-). I carried the dog bowl to feed Alli, and I helped mama make dinner. By help, I mean I ate zucchini and tomatoes while mama cut them up. Then I helped her put them in the dish. While dinner was cooking, I helped mama water the plants and threw a toy for Alli. I had a fun day today!

The running y resort

I had so much fun at the resort we went to, there was a pool that was just my size. I had fun jumping off of the side and splashing daddy and mama. There was a big playground too, I climbed all the way up to the big slide and went down all by myself. We took Alli for walks and we rented bikes and went for a bike ride to play Alli out before the ride home today. When we got home daddy mowed and cleaned up outside while mama and I cleaned up inside. Daddy's friend from high school and his family came over for the night. They have a little girl named Harper, she is a couple months younger than me. We had fun sharing our dinner and playing outside together. Her bedtime is a little later than mine, so mama and daddy let me stay up until 8:15 because I was being a good boy.

Sunday morning we went to church, the lady in Bible school had to bribe me with crackers, but I ended up having fun. We went home and played with  Alli in the yard. Daddy gave Alli a bath and it was fun to watch, when she shook she got me all wet. Tuesday mama and daddy had to work, so I spent the day with grandma and Miss Linda. I tried to show them how I go down the slide head first, but my head and nose hit the concrete first. I look a little rough with my face skinned up, but it sure didn't slow me down! Yesterday after my nap we went to town to look at a new car. We were there for a while before they agreed on a price for the Jeep we wanted. We didn't get home until bed time, but I like our new ride :-) Today is daddy and mama's 4th anniversary, and daddy surprised mama with a trip to the running y resort in klamath falls. We brought Alli with us, and it looks like a fun place to stay!

Wednesday daddy, mama and I went to Roseburg to help grandma and papa cut up the bull elk that papa shot. I tried to entertain in the garage while they all worked. Thursday daddy had to work and all I wanted was to see daddy. I walked around the house looking for him and saying "Daaaaddy". Mama said after my nap we could go see him. We went to see daddy at the fire station, and he was driving a big fire truck. He let me sit in the truck and check things out. I had fun at the station. I played with Alli a lot on Friday. Today I went and helped mama and her friends pick apples to make apple sauce. My friend Maren and I ate some of the apples, they were yummy. When we were done picking, mama took me home to spend the day with daddy. We had a fun day playing outside with Alli. After my second nap, daddy and I went to the Rogers' where mama was making applesauce. We had dinner there and then daddy brought me home, gave me a bath and tucked me into bed.

Sunday daddy had to work so mama Alli and I went on a bike ride along the river. Mama packed a picnic lunch and we ate at the campground with some of mama's friends from work. We rode home in time for a big nap for Alli and I. In the evening we played in the yard with Alli. Daddy and mama had to work on Tuesday so I spent the day with grandma. We had so much fun just grandma and me. We picked tomatoes and I learned to say mato. Mama was there to get me when I woke up from my nap and we headed home. I was so excited to see my buddy Alli that I ran out to her pen in my bare feet! After dinner Alli took me for a walk behind the house.
