I have now mastered climbing into the chairs at the table and sitting up like a big boy. Mama still won't let me eat there, but I still like to sit in them. I can also climb up onto the couch to sit. Anything that I see that I might be able to climb up, I try. Yesterday I helped mama in the yard. I helped put metal rings in the garden and then I stole her lounge chair!
Yesterday mama and I went to Roseburg to go to the wildlife safari with grandma and my cousins. First we walked through and saw monkeys, Wallaroo, and pet the goats and pony. Next mama took us all into a bird cage and we took turns holding a stick with bird seed on it. After we saw the flamingos and the cheetah one more time, we drove through the park. We saw tons of animals, but after a while I got tired of being in the car and tried climbing out. While we were napping Kenzi and mama picked more cherries and some raspberries. They were very yummy but kind of messy too.
This morning I woke up went straight to the living room, put on my hat and went to the door. I was ready to go outside. After breakfast, we did just that. Daddy went to cut firewood with the guys from church, but I'm still a little too small to go along and help. Mama and I played outside most of the day. I helped her water flowers and pull weeds. I carried her bucket of weeds around for her and scattered them elsewhere :-) I played catch with mama, I am getting better at throwing the ball back to mama. I also had fun on my slide and playing with my four-Wheeler toy. After I ate my dinner we went over to my friend Maren's house. I stayed there with Maren and her babysitter while daddy, mama and her parent's went to a retirement dinner. I was a good boy for the sitter, but was happy to see mama and daddy when they came back and woke me up to take me home!
Sorry haven't blogged lately, daddy and mama have had a busy week. Mama and I took dinner to daddy for father's day at the fire station. Then on Monday daddy and mama had to get ready for the busy week. Mama worked on Tuesday, and daddy left for a Mt biking trip for a couple of days. Daddy brought me to grandma and papa's house, where I got to spend a couple of days with them and all of my cousins. Mama and Kenzi picked some cherries and they were yummy. Mama had to work again today and daddy picked me up on his way home. I helped daddy around the house tonight, and I get to spend the whole day with daddy again tomorrow :-)
Mama finally finished my toy box, with safety hinges to keep my fingers safe. We had to make a couple trips to the home depot, which is ok by me, they have fun carts there with steering wheels so I can drive through the store. Mama also decided to sand and repaint my John deer tractor bike. I have sat on it and turned the steering wheel, but she and daddy need to take the wheels off so they can paint those too! Then I can ride on it. Mama made me some yummy popsicles with yogurt and fruit, I had one for a snack today and it was messy but good.
The past few days I have enjoyed playing in the backyard. Mama took me on a bike ride one day and daddy took me on a wagon ride today. I love being home and playing outside. I cut a new tooth yesterday too. Mama got me a cereal bowl with a straw so I can drink all of the milk before eating the cereal. Yesterday I tested mama a lot and spent a good part of my awake time in timeout. I am pretty stubborn but I think mama is even more stubborn than me. She didn't seem to like it much when I threw a fit!
Today was a fun day, Lala and mama and I went to the park to play. After nap time we played in the yard. I went in the swing with Bampa and played with Lala in the yard. They got me a tricycle, but I can't quite reach the pedals. It was fun sitting on it and having someone push me though. After dinner and bath, we loaded in the car and headed home. I slept most of the way!
Today we got ready for Grace's birthday party. We set up water toys including a slip and slide that was a lot of fun. I tried everything out before the other kids got there. I took a good nap before everyone got there, I woke up just in time for the party. There were a lot of people there and I was still waking up, so I stayed with Lala or Daddy most of the time.
When I woke up today I was at Bampa and Lala's house. Grace was here too, and after breakfast we went to kinder gym. I had fun climbing on the mats, jumping on the trampoline and playing. After nap I played in the yard with Lala, she pushed me in the swing and played ball with me. We went to auntie Leanne and uncle Tyler's house for dinner. I had fun playing with all of Grace's toys. She got a trampoline for her birthday, I jumped a little bit. We had yummy pizza for dinner, daddy fed me a couple smoked oysters from his pizza and they were good!
It has been hot for the last few days. I have enjoyed the pool and hangin out with my shirt off! I had fun with grandma, papa, and my cousins yesterday while mama worked. This morning daddy made me a yummy fruit smoothie. Today was a sleepy day for me, I took a morning nap and a 3 hour nap this afternoon. After dinner and bath we are headed to bampa and lala's. I'm excited to see them, and it is cousin Grace's birthday!
Today was a workout day for mama and Tami. I played in the sprinklers until Maren woke up, then we did pushups like mama was doing. I fell asleep on the way back to the park while eating a snack bar. When we got back to the park, we fed the geese popcorn that Miss Tami made. I liked the popcorn too, so the geese didn't get much of mine. One brave goose came and took some from my hand, I didn't really like that. Mama had to go to Medford to run errands, and I stayed at Miss Tami's and played with Maren. We went for a wagon ride, played in the creek, and in Maren's pool. I had a yummy popsicle when I got up from my nap, but I made a big mess!
