To the park

This morning after a big breakfast of omelet, toast and strawberries, mama and I went to the park. Mama and her friend Tami did a workout while Maren and I chased ducks and played. I chased the ducks all over the baseball field but couldn't catch them. When I got back in the stroller, I was played out and took an hour and a half nap. Mama stayed at the park until I woke up. Then we fed the ducks and geese in the pond there. We got home in time to have lunch with daddy. I played in the back yard while daddy fixed the sprinklers, and enjoyed playing in the water!

Busy day

I woke up before daddy left for work this morning, but stayed it my pj's until after nap time. I had a runny nose so we didn't go to church. I rode my toy horse around the house. When mama said "ride em cowboy", I remembered I didn't have my cowboy hat. I found it and wore it all morning. This afternoon mama and I went shopping and then visited daddy at the fire station for dinner. I played frisbee with the guys and had lots of fun there. I even got to sit in one of the fire engines :-)

  

 

 

  

Car wash!

Today we spent the day at grandma and papa's house. Daddy and papa went to the mountain to look for elk sheds, while grandma and mama and I washed cars and played. I loved playing in the bubbles, playing in the mud that the water made, and blowing bubbles in puddles of water on the floor mats. Grandma also let me use the hose a few times. I helped scrub the mats with a brush and then I stomped on them when I was done :-) The play structure was fun too. I went down the slide and even got on the big boy swing for a little bit, until my grip couldn't hold and I fell out. When daddy and papa got home we had dinner and went to Uncle Nick's house for a surprise birthday party for Aunt Lori. I had fun playing with all of my cousins!

Fun in the sun!

I woke up early this morning, I saw that it was light outside and decided it was time to get up. After breakfast we played inside and I helped mama water her flowers. After nap it was outside time. Sand box, dirt, and swing! So much fun :-) Daddy and mama played ladder golf while I sat on the porch and watched. Whenever either of them scored I clapped for them. The sunshine and playing hard made me very sleepy.

Independent boy

I have been watching mama use the spoon to feed me my oatmeal. I decided I would like to feed myself, so I took a few bites with a spoon. I wasn't getting quite enough on each bite so I had to assist with my left hand to scoop it. It seemed to work a little better so I dropped the spoon and scooped with both hands! I'm not sure why, but mama gave me a bath after breakfast. She said something about wishing she didn't put blueberries in my oatmeal. I spent all day yesterday with grandma while daddy and mama worked, I had a busy day playing outside with my cousins. I played in my back yard this afternoon, I have realized that if I hold still for mama to put sunscreen on me that I get to go outside soon :-)

  

  

 

 

Mama's Birthday!

Today was a fun day, mama and her friend Tami worked out and Maren and I played. Daddy had a big test to take at work, then he picked me up so mama and Tami could have a nice lunch. When she got home daddy, mama and I all went for a hike to Rainey falls and had a picnic. Daddy told me I went on this hike before but when I was only a few weeks old so I don't remember. We sang songs and I got to play in the sand when we had a picnic by the river. Mama gave me a whole pear to eat, it was juicy and I dropped in in the sand once, but it was delicious. We got home a little after my bedtime, but that's OK because it was mama's birthday. I gave her a birthday card and even signed it myself, she was smiling a lot when she read it.

 

 

Hot Day!

This morning we went to church, and I'm getting used to the girls at Bible school so I didn't cry as much. After nap and lunch, daddy and mama said we were going for a bike ride. I was excited, but the bike trailer didn't fit on either bike. So we went to the store and got a seat for me to ride up with mama. They put it all together while I waited with my bike helmet on, but they couldn't get it to fit the bikes either :-( By that time, it was nappy time, so we just stayed home. After bath time, I ran around the house without my shirt and hitting my big belly!

My Sand Box

This morning mama took me to swim lessons. I had fun today, I jumped off of the side of the pool to mama and held my breath before going under the water. Swimming wore me out so after lunch I took a 2 hr nap. When I woke up I went outside to play. Mama uncovered my sand box, and I had so much fun playing in it. One of the times that I filled my sand bucket, I dumped it over my head. I looked up before it was empty and ate some of the sand (crunchy), I wouldn't recommend eating the stuff :-( For dinner mama made me an elk burger and broccoli (which was the second thing I ate today that I won't consider eating again). I ate some burger and pear, but I tried to hide the broccoli in my bib pouch so mama wouldn't see !

 

 

  

  

  

Daddy and Me

Today mama had to work, so I spent the day with daddy. First we went to Medford to do some fitness training at the fire station. Then after a big nap daddy and I played in the yard and he took me for a wagon ride to the park. Daddy showed me how to do double under jump roping. He also put me in my new shorts, and then I decided to climb into one of the dirt boxes in the yard to play. Hope mama doesn't find out that my shorts are ruined. (Oops)

Sunny day

This morning mama and I went to the park to meet our friends Tami and Maren so our mamas could workout. I chased the ducks, but couldn't quite catch them. I also tried to catch some geese, but they had cute baby gosling and they started honking a lot when I went close. That was when mama made me get back into the stroller. After my nap I got to play and help mama and daddy in the back yard. While daddy mowed and mama pulled weeds, I decided to help by digging in the dirt and putting it all over the sidewalk. I even tasted some of the dirt, but mama said that it was yucky!

Monday

Mama let me drink the milk from my cereal bowl this morning. I made a bit of a mess, and after each drink I would smack my lips and go ahhhhhhh. We went for a walk today but I was sleepy so I fell asleep in the stroller. I got to play in the stones while mama cooked dinner on the bbq. But the best part of the day was when I had bath time and learned how to squirt mama with my crab tubby toy!

A Fun Day!

Mama took me to a goat farm today, where there were goats of all sizes. I got to hold a baby goat that was only a week old and saw some that were only a day old too! I also tried some goat cheese there and liked it. After that we went to our friend's house, the Howard's, and had a delicious BBQ, daddy met us there and my friend Maren came too. We stayed out past my bedtime, but I was a very good boy all day. Daddy let me brush my own teeth before bed!
